• Yukonberia Pack •

Welcome to Yukonberia pack. The pack was founded in January of 2021. It's located in the Tundra, a place where grand mountains stand tall against a desolate, icy landscape. There are few trees here, except in the southern portion of the territory. The pack's founders are Abnus and Lumi. One, a Yukon wolf, the other a Siberian husky. Together, these two built and established their own pack, with the help of other wolves of course.

The pack holds sacred beliefs in animism, totemism, and the afterlife.

I. The line of Abnus:
All Alpha males in Yukonnberia trace their bloodline to Abnus, the first founder of the pack. Only sons of alphas may inherit the throne. The patrilineal line is sacred. The males are trained in survival, diplomacy, and scouting from birth.
II. The Chosen Queen:
Only chased wolves may become alpha females. These wolves are called Spirit-Borne-- holding no traceable ancestry nor family, they are considered spirits that have reached down from Heaven and transformed into mortal beings, said to guide the living. Each generation, the current alpha embarks on a quest to find the next queen.
III. Naming Rites:
Pups of Yukonberia are not named at birth. They earn their name at their Moon Trial, a rite-of-passage that takes place under the third full moon of their life. They are guided by an experienced mentor or tutor, where feathers, bones, or first hunts are used as symbols. The tutors then interpret these signs and the name is revealed through ancestral memory.
