(Princes/Princesses is only a title/rank- not a role. no special privileges)

-Must be a descendant (biological or adopted) of either their predecessor OR the King/Queen
Shaman:
-"Herbologists"
-The wisest and most knowledgeable in herbs and healing.

-They are required to have an apprentice at age 6y6m to ensure there is a well-trained future shaman
Shaman's Apprentice:
-Hand-picked at puphood by the current Shaman or Alpha to be trained by the Shaman
-Picked based off shown wisdom OR if they had conditions which would hinder their usefulness elsewhere
Wanderers:
-"scouts"
-In charge of managing territory boarders and maintaining territory
-Only two at any given time
-Should have fairly even stats and abilities, trained in all skills evenly
(Wanderers differ from caregivers in the sense that they were not born naturally weaker)
-Wanderers will look for apprentices around age 6y6m
Wanderer's Apprentice
-Only trained if a/the Wanderer(s) is getting older, as there can only be two Wanderers
(If a perfect wanderer if born or adopted into the pack, they will be trained and positioned as a Hunter- UNLESS both wanderers are young enough that it would be unreasonable to make them a Wanderer after their retirement)
-Trained and educated in all fields
Caregiver:
-"Pupsitters"
-Wolves who would not do well as scouts, hunters, or shamans (ie; runts) OR do especially well with pups
(ie: wolves born weaker than their littermates)
-Raise all pups after they are weaned
-Should have a very well-rounded education and even stats/abilities, trained in every field
-Very unlikely to retire to Elder or switch to Mentor

-The only role that does not have a footnote (any wolf without is either yet to be titled "Grazer" or a hunter)
-"Hunter" for males, "Huntress" for females (though it really does not matter)

-They are usually trained for their specific role (Stalker, Chaser, Finisher) since puphood
-There are (currently) 3 hunting parties

-Tasked with the education of pups who are not adolescent
-Can be replaced into their previous role in the case of emergency

-Trained for whatever they show the highest affinity for OR what is needed most
(exception of weaker pups - caregiver/shamans)
-Wisdom and Smarts: Stalkers and Shamans
-Speed and Agility: Chasers
-Strength: Finishers
-Heirs, Wanderers and Caregivers will be trained evenly in all fields
Apprentices:
-All adolescent wolves will be apprentices
-Most will end up being Hunter's Apprentices
-Whether they will be a Stalker, Chaser or Finished depends on their Trainee education and shown abilities/stats
-Heirs, Wanderers and Caregivers will switch between their mentors if possible
-Weaker pups are most likely to be Caregiver or Shaman's apprentices
Grazers:
-Any member of the pack without a role for any reason
-They are still expected to be able to provide use of some kind, even without an official role
(i.e.: breeding or backup for unfilled roles)
