FOUNDING LORE: Darkwater was first formed by Moonlight's father, Greyrock, when Greyrock and his mate Timberheart died due to Mother Nature- Moonlight inherited the title alpha at 1 1/2 years old. Moonlight has been leading the pack ever since, alongside her Council's advice. June 14, 2021….. Moon died of old age and her heir, Rain, takes over the title of alpha… When Alpha Rain died Sapphire took over the pack, everyone despised her. She was an unjust, evil wolf! Soon after Sapphire became alpha, a young male, Arrow took over her place. In all fairness….? He killed her without anyone knowing, he just had to get rid of her. Arrow wanted to pack to live to prosperity, he moved the pack to the mountains then with calling it Tribe Of The Misty Woods he set out to lead. New pack laws, new area, new name, new life. ————————————————— PACK TERRITORY: SpoilerThe old pack territory surrounds a crisp flowing River that opens up into a clean pond. The alphas den is nearest to the pond, it is a deep underground cave that opens up. The scouts den 'high rock' is up on the high ledge over the pond so they can keep a lookout for danger. The hunters' den 'The hollow' is nearing the edge of the territory and it has a sandy training ground next to it. The Nursery is a sandy leafy burrow perfect for rambunctious pups, it's in a cove right near the pond. The guards den 'River outpost' is at the entrance to camp so the guards can always keep watch Our pack territory is in a clearing always shrouded in fog, with the majestic mountains surrounding it. The entrance is a thorn tunnel leading into our camp, the clearing is the center where no dens are. The alphas den is farthest from the entrance, it is a cave in a nook of trees. The forest clearing is the next clearing to the left of our main one; it is a circle of trees covering a warm bushy spot. The healer den is near a clear pond next to the entrance, the den is made of a fallen tree; warm and protected. The nursery is next to the alphas den, this area is made up of rocks and leaves; protected for pups and safe with its sandy floor. The hollow is to the right of the entrance, carved out of the side of a huge slab of rock; this is our hunters den. The Ledge is a slight right from the clearing, it is a cliff overhanging the whole camp. Guards are usually posted here, wolves say the cliff isn't really a cliff but some kind of humanoid thing... Who knows?! Large ruins lay next to the Hollow, ghost stories are told about the ruins- watch out pups
