The Crownless

They who carry the wills of ancestors

The Crownless are a pack of wolves centered and inspired by Viking and Norse mythology..

The freezing cold is when the Crownless are the strongest, they thread carefully and hold close the knowledge of their ancestors. The Modir (Mother) leads the pack, the female descendant of the Modir will always be the future Modir. The pack is organized in three structural hierarchies.
Thrall who carries the spirit of the Great Grandmother.
Karl carries the spirit of the Grandmother.
Lastly the children of the Mother, daughters are trained to become leaders, males are taught the importance of treating illnesses and caring for pups. The sons protect and aid the pack from the inside, the sons and daughters of the Mother work together and the children of the Thrall and Karl bloodline also work along. If there were to be only daughters and no sons, the pack votes on their leader, the other will do the job of the herbalist or to care for pups.

Bleeding Oak
A large fallen oak tree has been turned into the Herbalist's and Caretaker's den. Nesting and nursing mothers along with their pups all rest in the Bleeding Oak.

The Silver Highland
Treacherous mountains, when winter comes paths are impassable unless knowledgeable and skilled in the terrain. These highlands are the territory of the Karl, experts at getting through places and doing so undetected.

High Woods
The forest is always quiet, eerily so. Even in the pleasant warmth of the Greenleaf season, the forest remains silent. This is the territory of the Thrall, who manage to traverse and hunt in the old woods and come back to the pack successfully. .
