You overhear a dark male wolf speaking from beyond the large grouping of trees, his voice is loud and clear even over the sounds of the waterfall nearby. As the fur on the back of your body bristles in confusion you move forward anyways before sneaking a small look through some rocks. A large pack of wolves stands just feet away from where you are, eyes staring unblinkingly up at a black and red wolf with white markings. A smaller female wolf is at his side. She has herbs surrounding her in patterns and shapes. She seems enamored with his presence. As you take in a sharp breath the wolf you had first laid eyes on, seemingly the leader of this pack arches his back before taking a very small pup in his mouth as he walks closer to the edge. Your heart skips a beat as your filled with intense anxiety seeing the pup just hanging by its scruff.

The female wolf you had seen with herbs starts to speak and you gulp and listen, perking your ears as forward as you can. "This little one has such a unique fate dear friends. I have seen it written in the stars and those long passed have spoken the truth to me." Her voice was eerily soothing as she spouted nonsense. How would she know something like that? You quieted your thoughts for a moment to tune into the rest. "This pup must die, so says our ancestors brethren. Hear our voices as we howl in praise of your divine light!" As she finished she began to let out the loudest howl, all the wolves in the pack chiming in with their voices. The leader holding the pup looking over at her and then down towards the crowd of wolves before taking the small pup, who was by this point whining and crying and dropping him over the ledge. You whined and looked away before hearing the pup cease it's noise. You felt your stomach turn before vomiting on the grass which was dark in the light. As you glanced up at the sky the clouds begin to roll across the moon. The howls of those sick wolves growing louder and louder as you begin to run from the scene.

Before you leave the territory you back up as wolves surround you from all angles. You can't see their markings but you can certainly see glowing eyes and hear the sounds of breathing from all around you. As you suspected the male and female who lead the pack stroll forward like they hadn't done a thing wrong prior to them seeing you. "I saw you earlier watching us." the female growled, but despite it being aggressive she smiled as she said it. The male proceeded to walk forward and touched your nose before chuckling. "Ya know some may call us a cult. But I call it preaching the truth." As he laughed the whole packed followed his lead and did so as well. You took the chance and ran past him almost pushing him over. He turned and growled as his pack began the long process of chasing you from the territory. You would never return to this place again.
