The Turning Point is a quiet place full of solace. A place of refuge. The world around the pack is always changing, and always threatening the safety of those within. Outside of the pack, many grow infected with a disease that disheartens those that watch. So thus, Turning Point is a place where hunters and refugees come alike. To cure the world of such diseases, to bring a haven to those who desire shelter and help from it.
The pack's name system is a very simple package.
Names are generally as follows: Rank Title' Given Name An Example would be Dak' Nero or Ago' Kahana
For personal use for now, I name them as follows [rank Letter] Given name [personality corresponding emoji]
Given names are generally based on landforms, adjectives, and real world names. This is incomplete and undecided, so wolves can fall outside of this set of plans.
Pank ranks follow along the lines of Wolvden's roles. However the roles generally are called differently.
This is a list of all ranks officially within Turning Point. This directly pulls from The Turning Point's Source Material. Titles were created for my personal use within the pack.
The Pack's leader, in game, it is my lead, Meander. The title sol is sacred and held for the guiding light of the pack, the leader.
The Pack's herbalist in game, it is my herbalist, Rend. The title Alc is reserved for apothecary of the pack. Former herbalist, and current herbalists will generally have this title before their name
The Pack's scouts in game, in lore it is just Esker. The title Auv is held in great regard for the advisors. While most advisors are swapped out often, Advisors are relatively listened to individuals. They send out the hunting parties, and scout the world, learning new things everyday.
The pack's mentors in game. In lore, this is considered a high honor to hold, as this means they have lived long enough to pass on their knowledge to the next generation.
The pack's pupsitters in game. In lore, this role cares for the sick, elderly, citizens, and most importantly the young and the fledglings.
The pack's stalker hunters in game. In lore, this role is the commander a hunting party, and tracks the prey down for the chasers and ambushers.
The pack's chaser hunters in game. In lore, this role chases the prey til the ambushers can finish them. They may also chase and corner prey.
The pack's finisher hunters in game. In lore this role finishes off prey in hunting parties, and may set up traps to catch prey when they are not on hunting parties.
The pack's adolescents in game. In lore, this role is given to pupils to learn from wayfarers. While in this period, they're joining the pack roles where they are needed. When they have graduated from their training, they'll leave the training cove and become a tracker, chaser, ambusher, advisor, apothecary, or wardkeeper.
The pack's pups in game. In lore, this role is for those just starting their training. In this period, they must learn all they can from wayfarers in safety of the pack's walls. Once they become older and graduate their first section of training, they may begin to join pack roles where they are needed.
The wolves without a role at all within the pack in game. In lore this role is for those who do not have a fixed role yet. They may go between hunter types, advisors, wardkeepers. They may even be citizens of the pack with no further desire to be anything but a roamer of the pack.
The den is currently not specific to the pack's lore. So thus they'll need to be changing. In focus and appearance as well.
