WELCOME TO THE FLEUR PACK
"Welcome to the land of snow, stranger." Came the rumbling voice that seemed to echo throughout everywhere, leaving you unable to discern their location. As you try to lift your head, you are met with a searing pain and the embrace of darkness as it clouds your senses and lulls you into a state of unconsciousness.
The first senses to return to you are hearing where you are greeted by the soft sounds of faint murmuring, urging you to open your eyes. "They're awake!" A small voice cheers and the sounds of paw steps can be heard retreating, leaving you to rise from the bedding you were haphazardly splayed out on. Shaking your head softly and rising into a sitting position, you look around to find the den's entrance with two wolves filling the entire entryway. You try to speak up, but find your throat is scratchy and dry from disuse, and wonder how long you've been out. "I see you're finally awake, child. You must be thirsty, or hungry perhaps? I've had Eira watching over you these past few days," said the petite, pale wolf who seemed to glitter with a blueish hue as she moved to stand in front of you, depositing a small rabbit, while—presumably—Eira, a similarly pale pelted wolf sets a leaf down before your paws, twinkling with the clear liquids contents. "Meet me outside once you've had your fill, I will bring you up to date, I'm sure you have many questions."
After downing the rabbit in a few quick gulps, and downing several leaves of water, you depart the Herbalists' den to meet the diorite wolf standing nearby, looking over a small cliff. "This is the land of Snow, and I am your guide, Alva." You nod your head and offer a strangled huff before following Alva down into the depths of the massive cavernous space, holding fur covered dens, entangled tree trunks and stone that seemed to be melded into the sides of the endless cave. You both trot beneath a wooden arch covered in strangely colored flowers before you're met with two males and a collection of pups running around their feet. You see Alva give a deep bow to the males and say, "My Lords, I have brought our guest in. I will leave them in your capable paws," she turns to you, offers an encouraging smile and disappears behind the archway, leaving you with two sets of eyes—one a piercing emerald, the other a more curious, striking gold.
"You've been out for quite some time, about three days I'd say. You're looking well for someone whose been asleep for that long," the golden eyed brute let out a heart laugh and nuzzled the other male affectionately, confirming any questions about their relationship, "Ripley, don't speak so freely with them, they're still strangers." Came the replied of the other wolf, grabbing your attention with the hint of a growl in his current undertone, "You'll be leaving soon enough anyway. You'll follow three of our laws while you're here. Do not steal, do not harm, do not jeopardize. You'll be watched at all times, and you'll stay far away from our inner camp." You could hear the beginnings of a snarl curling the unnamed males lip, and you resist the urge to offer a snarl of your own, but are cut off by the sound of Ripleys happier, calmer tone, "Please forgive my mate, Mikael can be a bit... hard to handle, but before you leave us, you have three choices, and please think carefully on them." The golden eyed wolf stepped away from his mate and closed a bit of distance between him and you before speaking again, "You may leave with a bit of food and water, you may settle nearby with the others who don't wish to be part of our hierarchy, or you can stay here with us. The choice is yours. You have time to think on it." He lowered his head and added, "But please keep in mind that those who go outside deal with the harshest winters for a long time before being touched by the rays of the sun. So be careful in whatever you choose."
You're excused to return to the herbalist den, and by the time you find yourself settling back into your temporary bed, your mind is filled with questions. Do you stay, or does the outside pull on you stronger?
