The Windingwood Giants

  Deep within the heart of a lush forest, seldom wolves hope to wander. The colors seem to melt together, and scents blend ever so sweetly among the shimmering mosses. Becoming lost is surely inevitable, unless you are lucky enough to stumble away. ‘Tis rare that wolves ever wander from such a mysterious fate. So always remember to never roam into the Windingwood, for if you do, you’ll meet the guardians of that sacred place. The few who live to tell tales of the woods speak of wolves as tall as the trees, with too many teeth, too many claws, twisted as exposed roots. They say if the giants catch you, you will surely die, eaten alive by their vicious appetite for trespassers. Of course, myths such as these are usually only seeded in truth, meant as cautionary tales for fools. Surely there aren’t any terrible giants wandering in such a forest…Although, there might be other perils if you choose to seek the truth. Would you want to challenge a legend?
