Stonebloods

It is said The Old Wolf first created stone, as the Foundation of the world. From this flat land she pulled up the Mountains and set forth the Ancestors on its slopes. This canvas she would continue to sculpt into the world we know today.

The Stonebloods claim an ancient and sacred lineage, one that transcends the convention of birth and blood, but is bound to Rock and Stone, to the very Earth itself. They believe themselves blessed by the Ancestors and The Old Wolf, infused with the spirit of the Foundation, an extension of the Stone itself. This lineage is not carried simply by blood, but by a metaphysical transfusion. This can occur naturally, or by ritual, carried out by a Farseer. Occasionally the Stone will reject a wolf, regardless of their heritage, and they are sent away from the Mountains. This is considered an exceptionally somber event for wolves born of the clan, and is carried out with great ceremony and reverence.
