The Bloodpact was founded by Lady Hiraeth. The Pact is matriarchal despite the exception of Evander. In times of uncertainty or during training, the Pact's stud may act as Queen regent. The Pact carefully selects its new initiates, usually based on their willingness to learn and to protect. Pact lore There was once a human woman named Hiraeth⦠She had been cursed to be a barren beast by her fellow man. As she was cast into the wilderness, Hiraeth's magick filled blood left a trail. Three curious badgers found Hiraeth and licked her wounds clean, in turn also transforming them into wolf-like beasts! It is there that the first Pact was made between Hireath and Evander of the Badgerpelts. The Badgerpelts were taught human ways of gardening and medicine.
