Northern Grasslands Pack

You sprint through the pine trees, your paws thrumming the ground below you as you chase a squirrel. It just was seemed like a tail length ahead of you. Your jaws open as you draw closer, preparing to grab it when suddenly, a canine bolts in from the side, grabbing the squirrel.
You stare in the direction the canine went with confusion. Peering through some bushes you spot a silver-red-tan male holding your kill. Your hackles raise in a snarl as you hold your head and tail high. You stride through the bushes, stopping behind the rival.
Said rival turned to you, tilting his head. He drops the squirrel at his paws and sits.
"What are you doing hunting in my territory? I was going to let you off and take my prey, but since you dare to try taking it back I will confront you," the male spoke in a tone that seemed somewhat joking, which threw you off. "Sorry, my packmate Yukon told me I need to be stricter about defending the territory but it's so difficult! I am not cut out for leadership but it is what it is. Here, if you're hungry you can have my squirrel!"
He chuckled joyfully, whilst you stared at him with confusion.
"I'm Red Obsidian by the way, Alpha of the Northern Grasslands Pack. Nice to me you.... what's your name?"
