Sacred Grounds Pack
You stumble across a tunnel pathway of willows and a beautiful array of flowers and undergrowth along the edges of the path and thought it may be worth checking out. As you walk at a leisurely pace and watch all the butterflies flitting by, you finally come to the end of the path into a large clearing. It's ringed with trees and small bushes, dotted here and there with stray trees for shade. On one far side you hear and see a large cliff with a waterfall spilling over the edge into a stream that leads off into a pool and hidden somewhere behind the falls, you see a large cave. Towards the south of the clearing, you see a nicely secluded cove of trees with a few wolves sleeping peacefully.
"Hello there!" A brown she-wolf with black markings trots up to you. "Welcome to the Sacred Grounds Pack! My name is Heather, and I am the Alpha and founder of this place. Here wolves have a place to restart or live in a more peaceful lifestyle and tending to each other's needs."
"Pfft, yeah right!" Says an orange wolf walking past Heather.
"Amberdawn!! Sorry," Heather says with an apologetic smile, "he's still getting used to being in a new pack... well, most of the wolves here. Some are rescues, chased, or found wandering alone."
"Hey, aren't you going to introduce me? I mean, I'm obviously too charming to notice." A dark brown wolf with white markings gives you a cheeky grin as he sidles up to Heather. "I mean, come on, I'm your mate! Or are you just saving best for last?" He nuzzles Heather affectionately.
Heather gives an exasperated sigh and a smile. "This is my mate, Ash."
"Pleasure to meet you." He winks at you.
"Why don't you give our visitor some space and explore the place and go do something useful like check on our children?"
"Brook and Nikki will be fine, I promise. They're always busy now anyway, they aren't pups anymore..." He gives a wistful sigh. "I wonder when we'll have our next litter?" He gives a sly grin.
"Ugh, find something to do before I nip you!" Heather shoves him away gently, rolling her eyes. "I'm sorry about his behavior," she sighs, "I best get back to watching over my pack and make sure they don't get into mischief. You can stay for as long as you'd like exploring or meeting new wolves! Anyone is welcome!"
Your adventure awaits... do you stay? Visit more? Explore? Or leave?
It's all up to you.
