You step into the clearing, your paws aching from the long walk. A large grayish-white wolf leaps at you, growling. Pinned down, you see a brown she-wolf push the other wolf out of the way.
" Hailstorm, get off!" she barks, "Go find Owl Feathers!"she says in a commanding tone. The other wolf, Hailstorm, flattens his ears sullenly and walks away.
"Sorry, he's just protecting the pack. I'm Astra, the Beta of Night-Whispers Pack, and you are...?" she asks. You tell her your name and she smiles.
" Well, it's nice to meet you." Astra says, "I'm sure Rogue won't mind if you stay awhile. Go ahead and check out the pack, unless you want to hear some pack lore." she sits down, waiting for you to make your decision.
