Tempest Harbingers

You stumbled upon a den deep in the forest. From a protruding rock resting on top of a cave entrance a black wolf stares down at you with undeciphrable eyes, beside the mysterious animal is another, equally dark wolf, bigger, stronger: her mate; he glowers at you with aloof abandon. From inside the grotto you see the glow of several other pairs of eyes trained at you as their leader decides for herself if you're friend or foe.
