The territory known as Gandle is an area in the Dark forest that belongs to a monarchy of wolves that has been around for hundered of years. Inside of Gandle are several smaller areas of wich different wolves live.
Sagestars pack, named after the first queen of Gandle, star. Sagestars pack lives in the Sage river shelters, a collection of dens only allowed for use age by members of the Sagestar pack. The shelter is named after the mythical Sage river though to bring wonderful dreams to those who gaze into its magical waters, but nightmares to any umpire of heart. Sagestar pack holds the king or queen of Gandle within it, and the leader also has the Hobart of being pack alpha. Sagestars pack has many religious practices aswell, including chasing ceremonies for chased wolves and coming of age ceremonies , where once a pup becomes an adolescent will revive their permanent name. Any names given before the coming of age ceremony is simply a nickname. The wolves of Sagestars pack believe in the wolf goddess Amur, who is said to be a beautiful black she-wolf with icy green eyes that watches over the pack and territory of Gandle. They also have a strong hatred of inbreeding and mutated wolves, though they accept secondary mutations, especially piebaldism.
Half rock island, or by its nickname Inbreed island, is home to a group of wolves that have strayed the ways of Amur and believe strongly that inbreeding is the right way to go. It is said that the two wolves currently living there are the son and doughter of Sagestars pack current leader, Sage. Rumor also says that the valiant leader Sage unknowingly bred with her Brother, and that the two pups are results of accidental inbreeding. But no one can say for sure. The wolves on Half rock island have their own god, Imati. Imati is talked about one wolf, but is actually two, as he and his brother are thought to be conjoined twins. They believe that the reason Imati got this unfortunate wolves not breeding with relatives. The wolves on half rock island have developed their own system of learning for indeed pups, and it acts as both a church and a school. There inbred pups learn about the ways of Half rock island and the wolves who live there and also their god Imati. Any pups who disagree with their ways are sent to Niag pack.
