🐺 Welcome To The Pack 🐺

You feel a chill wind blow against your face as you climb CrimsonClaw Moutain to see if the rumors were true about "The Imperfect Canines." You didn't hold your breath that they would accept you as you were used to being thrown out because you are different.
Your paws ache as you climb the last few steps of your 8-day-long journey. You're tired, hungry, cold and you don't wanna face the embarrassment again of being turned away. It may just kill you.
As you inch closer and closer to the top of the mountain you start to hear distant laughter and talking from other wolves. the nerves start to settle in as you approach the top. Where will you go if what the rumors said was a lie? What will you do? You can't help but think of the worst, as your step away from the top. The laughing and howling are louder than before.
Before you climb the peak of the mountain you take a deep breath and keep your head low, so you draw the least amount of attention to you. Not like it helped. As soon as you reached the top and were visible the talking stopped and everything went silent. You freeze in your tracks and are unable to move, you want to turn and run away but you froze and can't do it. You feel tears welting up in your eyes. "This is it." you thought to yourself.
Those 8 seconds of silence sure felt like forever to you. When suddenly you hear a small wolf pup chant with some excitement. "It's a new friend, everyone! a new friend!" The silence was then broken as the rest of the crowd chimed in and started greeting you. You see 3-4 wolf pups run towards you and they tackle you to the ground. Nibbling on your ear, you start to feel that stomach twist feeling go away. And for the first time in your life, you start to feel a sense of happiness as you thought to yourself. " Is this what it feels like to be accepted." This bubbly thought was in your mind as you were surrounded by lots of new wolves, greeting you with a warm welcome. You couldn't help to notice some were different than you & some the same.

All in a split second you feel your stomach drop again as a stern voice from behind the friendly faces spoke to you. Your head down again ashamed of the way you thought. "Why would a wolf like me belong here." You thought to yourself. The wolf approached you closer, hovering over your lowered head. The lead wolf started to smile and nudged your head. Indicating to you that it's okay, and you are safe now. He then spoke the words you had been dying to hear since you were a pup.

"Hello there, new friend. My name is Yakuno and I am the leader of this pack. & with paws wide open and warm grins, I just wanna say. "Welcome to the pack."
