スターチェイサー
Wolves of the pack that have the closest link to the dreamlands. The connection is so strong they even have the ability to summon familiars from their dreams to join them in the real world. Once a familiar is summoned, they are next in line to gain the title of 'Lead'.
Lore
The スターチェイサー (Night Runners) was formed by Arashi and Taifu, the pair was inseparable due to the fact their bond formed ever since they were both pups. The only reason they had left the pack was due to the fact their original pack considered anything related to the dreamlands as black magic. Since Arashi had gained access to the region in her dreams, she was immediately shunned away from her original pack as soon as the cat got out of the bag. Out of true love, Taifu followed behind to join her voyage. The duo had decided that their pack revere the power of the dreamlands since Arashi knew so much of the ethereal location. They quickly settled down at the Deciduous Forest, temporarily though. Originally the plan was to grow the pack the duo envisioned in the sunlit woods of the region but when Taifu died due to distemper. Arashi, filled with grief and heartbreak, moved her pack to the mountains of the region. After Taifu's death, several Sonoxes met up with Arashi in her dream explorations and promised to help defend her pack from misfortune. Now the Night Runners have indirect protection from beings of the night and a leader with a burning passion to keep her pack alive.
Sonoxes are wolves with some affiliation with the dreamlands. Hence they can enter the dreamlands that normally only leads can enter and harness energy from their dreams. If there is no heir to inherit the title of lead, it is a high chance a sonox will ascend to this rank after several trials and tribulations. Sonoxes are normally pure black or melanistic wolves.
