RISEBACK WALKERS

The Riseback Walkers, founded by Treek, are a pack of wolves located within the vast northern tundra. The pack dedicates itself as a safe haven for wandering and pack-less wolves, taking in those who seek refuge and a home. The Walkers, as they call themselves, specialize in exploration and discovery, traveling far across the lands gathering knowledge and insight on various things making them very keen on their surroundings and survival.
The pack follows a basic set of authority, with a single lineage being at the head, though the sole leader is voted on by the entirety, certain wolves with high knowledge and wisdom in their profession are seen as the head of that profession group, such as head-scout, head-sitter, and so forth. Special professions such as herbalist or pack-leader are chosen via voting, with a single wolf that fits the criteria and skillset being chosen in the end. Once a wolf in these special professions reaches the age of death or retirement, they are chosen as an apprentice that will later take its spot once they move on. Wolves are not required to pick or be chosen for a profession, and will not be treated differently because of such.
