About[Day 1]First wolvlocke challenge, just trying it out. Credit to Chantaey for the challenge and helping me with this post! Yes, I did get heavy inspiration from her second test run for the formatting of this post. There are no special rules in place except for one - excess food from the first two hunts ONLY can be carried over to other days. Wolf/game statuses, such as hunger, are not listed by what they were at the start of the day. They are end of day, so I can better track everything. I may skip days if I feel unmotivated to update this thread (Meaning I roll over, but do not interact with my wolvlocke wolves). This will only happen if there are no puppies/adolescents, and wolves will be fed and amused using non-wolvlocke items depending on how many days I skip. They will only be fed/amused to keep them at the same amount they would be at if I didn't skip! Game Notice BoardFreya and Asgard are officially pairbonded! Alone, cold, and healing from her eye being gouged out, Freya wandered the mountains. Eventually, she found a suitable forested area she could relax in, confident her former pack members wouldn't chase her this far. A grouse wandered nearby, and her mouth salivated, not having eaten in a while. After several unsuccessful attempts, she pounces onto the poor bird.. except it's not a bird? It's a male wolf, and he doesn't look too shabby by Freya's standards.. this would do quite nicely. Starter Wolves:

 Year 1, Day 1Journal[Freya's Perspective]I did it, I finally did it. It feels.. odd? To be outside the grasp of the madness of those people. Like I can finally breathe again after being underwater for so long. And this Asgard, he seems decent. A bit naive at times, but he's certainly not a hinderance. I've been trying to get him to leave me alone and stop asking questions, but he can't seem to take a hint.

Year 1, Day 3Journal[Asgard's Perspective]Freya made a weird comment today. Something about how she was "with a wolf she shouldn't've been with". Maybe I should remember that? Anyways, she's not letting me take a break from teaching her so I can look for dye. I'll just sneak off at dawn, she insists on sleeping in. Maybe we would have more time to practice if you weren't sleeping so much, Freya?

He actually seems kind of decent, now that we've been through a life-threatening illness with each other as our only company. This does not mean I trust him, no one can possibly be this nice without ulterior motives. Still trying to figure those out. [Asgard's Perspective]

Tumeric, Freya tells me. Good for yellow dye, not so much for painting
Yarrow. Okay for yellow dye, a little desaturated though.
Mullein - Good all around. More of a brown than yellow color.

Year 1, Day 7Journal[Asgard's Perspective]Freya officially decided to choose me as her mate. It was kind of silly, the way she said it, and I had to try not to laugh right then and there. I suspect it likely has to do with her upcoming heat.
