Did you use the talents on your lead wolf? There are 2 options to use a talent point and you'll get 10 extra pack adult slots added. You can get a total of 20 slots if you use 2 points for those talents

When you go to your lead wolf. The right side shows family, wardrobe, and talents. If you go to talents, it'll say you have a certain amount of points. I think you can only gain points after level 5, but I could be wrong. There are many talents there which will give you buffs. There's some for fighting, befriending new wolves, making medicine, going foraging, etc.

Pack adult slots can be bought with SC at the very bottom of your den page. Scroll all the way to the bottom, and it'll say something like buy one slot for $SC

Depends on every person honestly. Although I highly recommend keeping one talents point to the side because there is one talent that will make your wolves loose 5% mood every rollover instead of 10% mood. This will help out a lot if you ever don't have amusement items. Every amusement item gives 10% mood, so use it whenever your wolf needs 10% mood. I have this talent, and I only give my wolves amusement every other rollover (RO)

Yes. You can use healing salves to give your wolf health if it's low. You can try fighting lower level animals for now. Any animal lvl 5 or higher has a chance to drop something if you won. There is a higher chance of drops as the animals are higher level. You might need some of those drops/trophies to craft decor or backgrounds

Yeah, it's a bit more complicated because of the personalities and choosing stats. You'll get the hang of it soon
I actually found lioden a bit too stressful. I was doing good for a while, but I stopped playing and can't figure it out again.
