Wall of text of accepted students updated on both posts: please let me know if I missed anyone! I know you already responded Phrog but: It is the first day of student orientation at a college built specifically for people who can shift into animals. Most are just milling about the campus making friends for now (and we can do classes / parties whenever people are ready 👀) On my end: Rachel Mus is a pretty rich girl who, to her horror, can turn into a humble mouse. She is the youngest of her immediate family to attend this school and is incredibly familiar with it and it's surroundings. She immediately goes to get food as she has been to orientations with her older sisters and meets Sparrow, a hawk shifter [Mayfly]. The two bond over early shifting stories and discuss photography and local beaches. Brutus [Queen Void] joins them and eats a mouse, which freaks her out. Brutus is an opposite to her in many ways: a powerful man, a mythical shifter, and socially unaware. She storms out of the Cafeteria and Sparrow follows, and the two continue to try and make friends with one another as they watch Brutus and another mythical shifter in the distance. Dallas Bishop, or just Bishop, is a sweet apple pie southern boy whose life is turned upside down when he discovers he can turn into a bear like his grandfather. He is clueless and willing to help, which is how he introduces himself to the injured Grim [Queen Void] and gets caught up in shenanigans when the two go for snacks and Grim suddenly needs medical attention. Bishop tries to carry the intimidating man on his back as a bear, but their trek to the nurses office is interrupted as Grim rolls over and turns into his mythical wolf form. |
