As for amusement, I could lend you some for now, but for the future, Send out as many scouts as you can to passively gain amusement from scouting, as well as exploring with your lead! That can also help you get the items you need for your snake and Melvin quests! ^^

My wolves have compatible personalities, my friend gave me that tip. :))
However one, that I named after them kept ruining it so I had to make her a Scout instead.
I try to do hunting trips back to back but right now I have one hunting party so they run out of energy and when they have more I forget.

Thank you so much for the tip about fleas!! I'll go move some of my wolves around real quick before the rollover

I've been sending out scouts too and exploring. I think the reason I have ran out so much is because I have been giving them to npcs for the event, and forgetting to give them to my own first.

Can a wolf die from an open wound?

I moved all the wolves who didn't have fleas to another cave. Unfortunately I can't move the puppies though so the outbreak will probably get work. I will keep sending Gooseberry (my herbalist) to get herbs!

An open wound? No, I do not believe so, however it does deplete some of their health every rollover, so it's best to treat it quickly.
