Vixeni sneaked back to the den and she walks in and then blocks the entrance with dirt, she sighed. "You doing okay Rex?"

He nodded at Vixeni then looked past her at the den entrance. "I can't go outside...can I?" He looked a bit sad. 'I guess staying safe means staying in here for a while...' He moved forward a little more and winced at a sharp pain in his side.

Growling he looked Talon in the eye. "If she attacks me then I won't be blamed for her death. And I don't care if she is close to you. She is nothing but a lousy mut to me." His ears twitched.

"I am sorry Rex...you're not in the condition, you need to be resting...this hides the den anyways.." Vixeni spoke before changing the herbs on his wounds. "I...I lied to the pack...I told them you died..."

"Its not like you are alpha..." Talon spoke, not knowing they walked past the den, since Rex smelled like herbs and the den was blocked, Rex's scent was completely gone.

He laughed. "I may not be an alpha but I am the strongest on here." He started towards one of the pig carcasses from the day before. "Now, let me eat in peace."

"No one is alpha...no one is omega either..." Talon grabs one of the pig's legs and lays down, starting to eat.

He sat patiently while Vixeni did everything. "I assumed they would be...but that is okay because I am really alive and I am not a runt anymore." He gave a genuine smile and wagged his tail slowly.
