I assume you're also on the event quest? I'm not sure if its intentional or not, but a little tip, you can still access the Current Wolves page so at the very least you can recruit new applicants. Also, if you have the Tundra/Glacier unlocked, since, at least for me, Muskox is also an option, that's a good place. |

Just for reference, both these guides, the Grouse House Battle Encounters (specific) and the Visual battle encounter (based on odds) guide are very helpful for when finding enemies! Based on these two guides, you'll likely find blacktail and whitetail deer both commonly in the Grasslands, however the Riparian Woodland works too. I assume this is a quest that just focuses on hooved prey, however? If so, I recommned beating these enemies up in the Tundra, as based on the visual chart, that is the best odds! I hope this helps for now and all future cases :D |

-For the two deer species, Riparian Woodlands and Deciduous are the best biomes to find them. 2/15 possible opponent encounters are in these vs. in Grasslands (2/16) and Coniferous (also 2/16). -*Musk ox encounter has 2/18 in the Tundra and 2/14 in the Glacier *Assuming group encounter counts (I don't see why it wouldn't, but I don't have those biomes unlocked at the moment so can not confirm for myself) And unfortunately, it's not just hooved prey. The event quest specifies three species, musk ox, black tail bucks, and white tail bucks. |

Aighh, makes sense. I haven't gotten that quest yet, so I wasn't sure! |
