Interest/pricing check 🍁 Interactable Adopts

Interest/pricing check 🍁 Interactable Adopts

Introducing Vox, a species of, uh, dragons? Anyway, they are very cute and sometimes fierce. Would anyone buy them? Would anyone help me out with setting them up? Does anyone have anything to comment on them about?

There are two subspecies currently that I have lineart for, and more will be added fairly often.

Upon joining you can claim a starter vox, which is pretty boring, with a gradient or a simple marking if you're lucky. Rarer vox can be acquired through auctions or flatsales as mercenaries, by breeding existing vox, or by exploring the planets.

For each planet, there is a map made of 100 tiles. Each tile contains an encounter where you can get a new vox, some equipment, or discover a new worldwide ability, like a fountain that lets you choose one marking that is guaranteed passed onto some hatchlings. Exploration is split into Scouts and Expeditions. Scouts are a flat price and let you effectively explore a single tile. There aren't any choices or lore, just buy one, I roll a die, you get a reward. For expeditions, you have to buy supplies. some are food needed to explore tiles, and some are items that will help you get a better drop from an encounter.

There will also be breedings, which are a lot of work and would have to be fairly expensive. You would be able to buy a single hatchling, or for the price of three I will roll a die and give you 1-5.

The examples shown here are pretty average mercenaries or wild vox.

So yeah, kinda a long interest check, but

Would you buy one (no is a valid answer):
How much would you pay for something like the examples above:
Any comments, suggestions, other:

Definitely seems interesting!

The pricing with adopts can reeally vary so anything from 1gc (100sc) for the common bois, 2gc-4gc for the average sale then upwards for rarer designs and such :D

I would love to see these as a thing. Here and I wouldn't mind helping out either, either with modding things, helping you bounce ideas or even some art.

As for pricing i'm not sure as i'm not very familiar with the market of things atm

It may also sound silly, but for interactive adopts, making them cheaper actually makes them more worthwhile in the longrun XD It helps build a community and then they gain worth a lot quicker and you can hold special sales, at least that's what I've found from experience ^-^

I agree with xxDruidxx i've done interactive adopts on other sites before and made them cheeper cause in the long run ppl will still pay for them and then you gain a life long userbase. I would do my own or attempt my own again i just don't have the time to try to run something massive anymroe.
