I know the age of death is covered in this passage, " Wolves can die from a variety of different means. Lethal illnesses will kill a wolf if they have 0 HP with a lethal illness going into a rollover. A list of lethal illnesses can be found [here]. Wolves can start dying of old age at and after the age of 7 years 6 months. Lead wolves will always die at 8 years of age. Pups with lethal mutations will die before they reach adulthood. Pups with low survival chances can also die randomly at rollover. "

But I saw someone mention studs live till 8 as well and was wondering if that was true? I have a wolf I want to live till at least 7 yrs 9.5 months, but not sure if setting as a stud will guarantee that and don't wanna waste the gc / grind for it if that isn't true

Studs are not guaranteed to live to 8 unless they are also your lead wolf ^^ they're treated the same as any other pack member
