Yup, club penguin shut down 6 years ago, disney bought it and completely changed the game and people didn't like it

Doesn't surprise me honestly. Disney is great when it comes to making their own content, but when they buy out it kind of flops.

R.I.P. Novilar indeed.. 💔
Had high hopes for that one.

🐾 I've been on/off on Furry Paws since 2008. Dog breeding/competition type. It's alright but its age shows imo. There hasn't been any real updates for years. Majority of players who are online are people who've been there since beta. Then a handful of new players show up for a little then disappear again. It used to be very lively, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's nearing the end of its life. The veterans who still play are what keeps it going still.
I tend to find a sudden burst of interest in it, play it for a month almost religiously, and then I lose interest again? You can lock your dogs though, so I pick up where I left off whenever I get another spark for it.

🐕 The creator of Furry Paws is working on a new dog game though, Herd of Hounds. Sort of a "reverse" dog breeding game it seems; the 'lore' is that pedigree dogs are no more, it's all mutts, and now you can try to breed the old breeds "back"? I tried it a bit. It looks like it has potential, but still got a long way to go imo.

🐺 Wajas is another one that's been around for many years. Fantasy wolf breeding simulator. I don't play it anymore, though I still remember my login details. About 40-45 players online at time of writing this. Seems there's still being made News posts, but it does have that "late 2000's/early 2010's" vibe.

🐉 "Everyone" already know Flight Rising of course. Dragon breeding sim. One of the most active virtual pet games in the last decade.

🐇 Been trying to get on Lucky Lapine, a rabbit breeding game by the looks of it. But it's invite code only right now. Sometimes you'll be lucky to snatch an invite code from the chat or through some forum.

Hope there's something here that sparks interest. <3

I went on the rabbit one, keep an eye on the quick chat. Someone shared a few invite codee. Though the site isn't secure so use at your own risk.

I tried Furry Paws a few weeks ago, I didn't like it as much but I saw Herd of Hounds on the same page and have been playing it, I think it's pretty fun, I've gotten ahead a little bit and have a bunch of dogs now lol
I've heard of Wajas and have looked just a tiny bit into it, I'll see about playing it later

I have no idea of the activity of any of these, but here's some I've played as a teen:
So it's been a few years lol

•Mweor (fantasy cat sim, very cartoony and bubbly)
•Alacrity (realistic dogs and dog sports)
•Felis Fire (fantasy cats, beautiful art, cool space theme)
•Furry Paws
•Chicken Smoothie (the EVERYTHING sim)
•Wajas
•Woolly Hooves (llama sim, sister to Mweor)
•Lioden (of course)

•Poke Farm (a Pokémon egg clicker game, I used to be SUPER addicted to this)

I'll add more if I think of them?? When I first got my laptop at 16 I used to try anything I could find.

If you were into the Warriors cats series, you can try Clangen!

I also play Xanje.  It's got cute artwork, a variety of pets, breeding for pet babies, an arena (that I have found to be pretty quiet so far honestly), and a great playerbase.  I'm a bit of a quiet player mostly, but I have seen warm welcomes and helpful advice there so far.
