Freezing/unfreezing Wolves

I do Amit tho idk how to view this once we get hybrids, it will literally just be how these hybrids work and their rates can I see a freeze being too op, unless we incorporate lore that hybrids are too weak to handle the frozen changes and are unable to go through being frozen which wouldn't be the end of the world if it came to that

Oooh yeah that would be nice! And I don't know if I added at the top but I think I mentioned some way to have like a cooldown similar to breeding for frozen wolves? Like if you unfreeze you can't freeze for another thirty days etc. hybrids would be interesting…I wonder how that would work with wolves other than wolf dogs?

I can see it both ways. I would use this if it was available. On the other hand, after playing Furry Paws I like that not having a lock feature here adds a different kind of challenge. One of my biggest worries is too many changes that remove the need for planning and strategy. It would be good to keep some things difficult without the player having to impose hard mode rules on themselves. For benefits, scenarios I would use a locking feature for:

Wolves in sales/raffles being unable to improve. I've got a chased I've been trying to sell for 6 wolf months just sitting there, unable to gain a single stat.

My OCDness. I like pair bonds to be as close in age as possible. I just used aging crystals to bring a bunch of pair bonds to adulthood together, but now their heats still don't match.

Being very picky about who to pair someone with and taking a long time to find a match.

100% support because I want to be able to freeze pups going into adolescent hood and freezing my wolves that may die next rollover

Big support, I'd also love if there was a way to do this with a lead somehow and just freeze stat gain etc. or make it so they become unable to do anything in the future except be bred once more (so that it doesn't give any unfair advantage - they also should stop showing on LB). Main reason is that at the moment investing in a female lead is way too risky (and not even very rewarding but that's another issue).

Say someone trains up a top LB female wolf, then at 7 years all the studs with suitable stats are on hiatus or dead. Now you get the choice between not rolling for an unclear amount of time or you have wasted so much effort you will probably never try again. With other roles this is of course also an issue so still support either way

When you secure a wolf it freezes them so they don't age up or leave the pack instead they are locked until you unlock them kinda like the freezing idea
