Wolves get along fine but are still failing to catch prey

I have two wolves that I have been sending out to hunt but they keep coming back with nothing. They get along fine but keep failing. What could be the problem?

It takes a bit for a hunting party to start getting results.

The more wolves you have in the party, the higher the chance it is that they catch something. They also need a bit of proficiency to do good and a bit of party synergy.

My advice is to try to increase the number of hunters and keep hunting so they get proficiency.
