Aeronwen

She smiled down at the wolf, taking the wilting, but still beautiful, flower from her jaws. "Thank you, Amaris. I appreciate it.." She said softly, patting the wolf's head and sticking the flower behind her ear. She took a deep breath, a peaceful expression settling over her face. She felt the cold descending on her bones once again as she walked, the freezing wind whipping at her skin and hair. Aeronwen watched the birds moving through the sky in silence as she walked with her friend. "It's so beautiful outside, isn't it?" She could hear Silas's paws crunching through the snow behind them, getting louder as he approached. She felt another presence nearby, not an animal.. human maybe?

So, although she disliked it heavily, the albino woman shifted into her wolf form. She shook her fur out, lavender eyes scanning the surroundings. She huffed slightly as she looked between her companions, nostrils expanding as she sniffed the air. What was that smell? It had to be human, right?  It wasn't another wolf, or a turned, they smelled farmiliar. This thing smelled like human things, towns, smoke from cigars, other humans, everything a wolf was not. She wondered if the others could smell it too..

raven hopped to a lower branch and decided to take a nap on the branch close to the ground so if she fell in her sleep she would be ok and soon she was fast asleep with the book right next to her

[amaris on her way to bug silas and aeronwen (its okay tho she loves em)]

Amaris

As much as a wolf could, Amaris practically purred at the thanks.

Silas was slowly coming up behind them and just as the she-wolf was about to turn and tumble her brother into the snow, Aeronwen's voice raised behind her and soon after, the wolf scent that came rushing along with the shift followed.

Amaris's tail immediately sped up, attention focusing back on Aeronwen with little huffs and small pokes of joy. They were all in their wolf form now!! But... she could smell whatever Aeronwen had scented. Hadn't worried about it truly, it had been there for a bit but the wolf didn't mind them. So long as whoever it is didn't try anything.

Silas She practically whined, trotting over to the other wolf with a low head but wagging tail, an almost grin tugging at her canine lips. Aeronwen scented something human. It hasn't changed for a while, just sitting there. Do you smell it to?

Elana

There was another wolf up ahead. It wasn't the silver white she-wolf, nor the patchy dark male. Certainly not the barely seen albino, she? apparently preferred her... human form. God, that was weird to say.

Instinctively, the fur along the back of her form prickled and a low growl rumbled in her throat. But... this one didn't smell so unfamiliar. Robin? She managed to ask, the name strange in her body because of course she couldn't talk and yet both knew how wolves raised a question, focused their attention on a specific packmate. It was almost easy to bring to name forward, despite how strange it seemed.

The growl made Robin step back, just a little, but the mention of his name made him relax, just a bit. Yeah.. Elana? Is... is that you? There was no way this was real. You're... a wolf. How? Wait. If you're a wolf, then... I don't think these are normal wolves. Can we even become... human again? His words were fast, the way they tended to be whenever he was not entirely sure what was actually going on, and on the verge of freaking out. He was relieved to see Elana, but stressed out by the whole strangeness of it all.

He wandered, aimlessly, in circles, again, a nervous habit, and one he, as a human, was always unaware he was doing. The wolf version of him was no different, and he was equally unaware of that he even was moving around.

((Sorry if brain soup!! If this is real bad I'll edit in the morning lol))

Silas

It had almost been a happy moment- Aeronwen was in her wolf form!! He knew how much she preferred being human, and found an extra quickness in his step as he broke through the soft snow to her and Amaris. For a moment he imagined their pack hunting together like this. As he approached, however, he saw how uncomfortable their body language was.

He couldn't stop his tail from wagging at Aeronwen… just a little. I appreciate you taking this seriously as a wolf. I think we do have a human among us. He lifted his silver snout to the air and felt the evidence of human life come to him. I don't smell anything that smells like a used firearm… or smells of a poor hunter, like deer scents mixed with human things.

He turned to his sister. His single eye remained the same, serious icy blue that he glared with as a human. Amaris, if you two follow me, I want you to take up the rear and protect Aeronwen. It's probably a hiker of some sort. I say we go and see how they've wandered so close. Silas's intention was unspoken: he had invited them to what may be a life-saving werewolf turning. He turned and trotted off towards the scent, wondering if they would take his lead and follow him.
