≪ A M A R I S ≫ @Aeronwenn, @Kovaa, @Adam + Robin, @Alder + Rowan Amaris shakes her head slightly, a half-feral grin playing at her lips as Aeronwenn agrees to the terms they suggested. "I don't particularly care if you like me. But if you wanted somewhere to stay outside of town, you'd need to at least respect the two of us, given we are your only chance of getting some help." Before anything more happened, however, the one she'd knocked down agrees – albeit grudgingly. And Aeronwenn's one agrees as well, even with a snide remark. "You don't have to like each other. Just don't provoke each other and listen. We'll fix you up, then you can leave or stay, depending on Silas." About to continue, the crash of someone – or something – slipping through ice, snow, and thick undergrowth interrupts. Amaris half-growls, clearly more used to voicing such displeasure as a wolf. "And whoever is lurking," Their voice raises to a shout, attention now focused on picking apart the smells, "All three of you, yes? Hurry and make a choice. Leave now, wait until I have to chase you away, or get out of the bushes and introduce yourselves." A short huff leaves their mouth as they turn to Aeronwenn, a mix of tiredness and frustration on their face. "After this, it's up to you to get whoever follows into pack life. I'm going to follow the wonderful example of the common grizzly and go into hibernation for the next four months." |

@Enjolras @Prog @Angel Robin's head rose to a knife at his throat. Rowan stood before him, his bolo knife resting just below the chin. The knife being this close to his skin, Robin could feel a sting from the blade. A kind of innate repulsion to it that made the hair on the back of his neck stand. The knife was silver. Rowan spoke in a hushed tone. "If you move, or do anything to let your friends down there know we are here, you are dead". Alder came up beside his brother. He looked Robin up and down, before flashing him an apologetic smile. "I hope you know", He said in a tone that paralleled his brother's, "you are very bad at sneaking up on people''. |

"They're not my friends, I don't even know them." Robin kept his voice low, matching their volume, pulling his head back from the knife, flinching slightly at it. "I wasn't trying to sneak up on you, I was only trying to figure out what is going on here." He continued, relieved when the knife was put away, then fell into their pace, following them down to the clearing, looking at the one who had spoken, but didn't speak in return, not at first. "If you need to know, I'm Robin, and I wasn't lurking.." He folded his arms over his chest, looking straight at the other, not afraid, but calm. "Pack? What do you mean by pack? I've figured out you're wolves, and that I am too, but, I'd like to know a few things. One: Who did this? Two: Why, and how? How does this work anyway?" He asked, his head tilted slightly to the left, looking confused, and feeling awkward, out of place. "I'm not a threat, just saying." He stated, his pose relaxing, but still shivering against the cold. Adam "Fine. Fine, I'll tolerate Kovaa, for now." Adam said, looking over at the three who were new, then back towards the ones who seemed to be in charge. "Yikes. How many of them are there?" He asked, just out into the air. "Last I checked, wolves don't hibernate, sorry to break it to you, but they do not, unless you're a were... grizzly? Is that even a thing?" He asked, slight smirk on his lips, fading quickly. "Look, I'm not about to go back to town, if you'll send me off, I'm not going, and that's final, let me be picked at if you want, I'm an idiot with a short temper, yeah, but, I can adapt, keep my mouth shut and what not, whatever you want." He said, pulling his jacket tighter around him, while moving around in circles, to keep warm while waiting. |

The one who spoke didn't seem to be connected to the other two, based on the hostility in their poses. They were surprisingly calm, posture relaxed, even as the cold threatened to swallow them all. She huffed quietly at his introduction, eventually ignoring the name and moving on. "You said you've figured out we're all, or mostly all, wolves. Wolves need a pack to survive. Even werewolves. As for who did this, how would I know? You'd have to ask Silas or somehow find out yourself. Which then means I don't know why. I could tell you how, but you don't really need to know that. You can't reverse a change. And as for how it works from here, that depends entirely on you. You have a choice of returning to town, finding somewhere else to figure everything out, or coming with us to our pack. There, we can teach you some of what we know." Her attention turns back to the other one, snarky and interrupting. "Last I checked, that wasn't aimed at you. You are an idiot with a short temper, but that's about all you got right. Keep working on that mouth, hm? And we've already said we'll take you back to where our pack is. Returning to my first point, what I called out wasn't aimed at you. Rather, at the ones in the bushes." They turn away once more, moving further from the two who'd agreed on coming to the pack, to focus on the pair of brothers behind Robin. "Well? Any other questions? Or can Aeronwenn and I," She gestures with a small tilt of her head to the albino, "Actually bring you to where it'll be warmer, safer, and a whole lot more comfortable." |
