OOC Topic by Phrog "In the Woods Somewhere" By Hozier (Spotify) Far north where human communities become scarce, the icy landscape stretches out endlessly before you. Hail smacks your face as you float forward, a small boat on the grey sea, feet crashing through the snow in search of solid ground. The temperature is plummeting. Your hands in your gloves are clenched and solid. The shapes that come into view start as beacons on hope, as human, and stretch into the sky as ambivalent pines. The wolves have been following you for sometime now. You see them sometimes, in your preifereal vision. They sense you are weaker now. There is nothing to make sense of except that you have found yourself somewhere familiar. Your vision is dark as if you just escaped the bright glare of snow. Most hauntingly, you are injured. While it is not bleeding, large teeth marks have punctured your flesh. Form As a general rule, forms do not have to be lengthy and specific. I tend to use them personally as a tool to keep track of my characters and what other characters look like. Name: Silas Anorak
Age: 27
Pronouns: He/Him
Human appearance: Silas is greying on the sides of his otherwise thick, dark hair. He very much prefers it to balding, and it reminds him of his wolf form very much. Before he lost his right eye, he was right handed. He still primarily uses his right hand, but has become semi ambidextrous to adapt to his blindspot. His other eye still has the same intense icy blue, a cold reminder of what was lost. Silas ignores the looks he gets for his facial difference and doesn't cover up his closed eye socket or the scarring around it.
His face is handsome and sculpted, with just a little bit of scratchy stubble. He wears practical clothing at all times, and you'll probably find him in a large plaid pattern.
Wolf appearance: A very large, intimidating male wolf with large pointed ears. He is missing his right eye, and all that remains is some scarring and an eyelid that has been surgically closed. His left eye is a icy blue. Silas's pelt is a mesmerizing deep sterling with lots of definition caused by black patches,
What caused you to be out in the snow: Silas was bitten by a wolf when he was young and was not caught in the wilderness. He started the pack, but does not turn everyone.
Relationships: Currently needs to be defined by meeting characters, will try to update. Bisexual with no preference.
Older Brother to Amaris Anorak.
Other: Morally grey, though he always thinks his intentions are pure.

Name: Mae Dietrich
Age: 22
Pronouns: She/Her
Human appearance: As a human, Mae is a petite young woman with long, platinum blonde curls that fall to the middle of her back. Her eyes are a very light hazel. She was only up north on vacation to visit family, as thus has an equal amount of cute, fashionable clothing as she does practical wear. Mae is not often well-prepared.
She has a cute, round face and is typically in comfortable turtlenecks and socks with cute designs on them.
Wolf appearance: Mae is a very diluted silver wolf, with greys and goldens so bright she can be mistaken as a white Wolf. Her eyes are a bright yellow orange, again desaturated and closer to white/grey than being a true orange.
What caused you to be out in the snow: She was getting groceries and other necessities and was caught in the snow. Mae is currently not integrated with the pack, but is aware of it… mostly because she is able to shape shift into a Wolf after meeting them.
Relationships: Currently needs to be defined by meeting characters, will try to update. Bisexual with no preference.
Other: Again, not a part of Silas's pack, isn't really sure what's going on.

Age: 19
Pronouns: She/they
Human appearance: Rather different to their brother, Amaris has silvery white hair already - long waves reaching down to the middle of their back. At about 5'4, she's also built rather differently - in both forms, she's smaller and leaner, much faster but a lot less powerful. They both have almost exact ice blue eyes and she tends to favour working from the right, always keeping Silas's blindspot covered. They prefer simple clothes as well, but they make some of their own. Knitted jumpers paired with jeans and warm pants, heavy boots covering their feet is what you can almost always catch them in.

What caused you to be out in the snow: Three years after her brother has... disappeared, shunned by their parents, Amaris has finally discovered enough to be sure that is was Silas roaming the woods and found her beloved brother, asking to be turned as well.

Other: She's the one who let Elana see the shift, the one who convinced Silas to turn to sweet researcher into a wolf as well.

Pronouns: She/her
Human appearance: At about 5'6, Elana keeps a fairly normal style. Her hair always tied around her head, braids wrapped in an almost circlet of dark brown. Again, she wears jeans, heavy boots and jumpers over turtlenecks and other warm clothes. She prefers earth toned clothes. In both forms, she's rather tall and has thick hair/fur. She seems to gravitate towards running and oddly enough, jumping/climbing.

What caused you to be out in the snow: After seeing a young woman practically melt into the form of a wolf, she's been researching the pack in much more detail than originally. Eventually, the same woman she'd first seen lead the leader of the pack to turn her.
Relationships: Asexual Bisexual - fem leaning. Open, pm me <3
Other: She was originally in these woods to research the packs but the company she was with essentially forgot about her. Elana decided to stay anyway, to run her own work, and it had just been slowing down until she had spotted the shifter.

Name: Aeronwen Davies
Age: 25
Pronouns: She/They
Human appearance: Being albino, Aeronwen has immensely pale skin, that makes any sort of blush stand out wildly. She stands at about 5'5" and has lavenderish-red eyes. Her hair and eyelashes are as if someone turned snow into a fine thread that they sowed upon her head. It reaches down to right above her calves and she rarely ever wears it up, but, if absolutely necessary, she will wear it in a tight braid. She usually wears pale colored clothes, which helps her blend into the snow. These are items such as sweaters, mittens, scarves, hats, etc. But, much to the dismay of her packmates, she will mostly be seen in thin dressing gowns dancing out in the snow.
Wolf appearance: Snow-white fur, the same strange eyes. Her wolf form is on the smaller side, though it definitely does not, by any means, mean she's weak.
What caused you to be out in the snow: When travelling with her village, looking for a new place to live, she found herself lost. And, due to her albinism, she doubted anyone would find her so she curled up and waited for death. This is where they found her, on the brink of death, and turned her.
Relationships: She is pansexual, and will be forming relationships via rp!
Other: She can't see very well, ahah..
