The latter would most likely be more convenient to me. I don't think I'd be motivated more to collect MEs once the pyre is lit than I've been so far.

Wait, since we have to wait 5-minute cooldown to buy another item from the Altar, what about those who loved the game so much that they stuffed on guarana and have enough MEs to buy at least 288 items which would require more than 1 day of actively playing? Is the Altar available for a longer time? Or are unused MEs just stored until the next Halloween event?

I dunno I needed to go to bed a long time ago . Waiting 5 min. every time to see whats next . I have spent everything I collected Im over it .

IDK, Im personally fine with a 5 minute cooldown! TBH, nobody will want 288 of common items and, the applicators would take 20K effigies hoarded to buy that many - with all guaranas used, its simply not physically possible to amass that much. And Im pretty sure all unused effigies will be stored until next year, like any other event currency.

I love how the Altar is coded, an epic presentation of buying prizes! Very immersive and RPG-feeling, I love it! Im almost through my effigies by now, just will buy a couple more items, so cooldowns are no issue for me And the little numbers showing how many of an item you own are extremely helpful, I wont need to worry about missing any items, I always can see how many of which Ive got. The 5 minute cooldown is a lil weird, but I'm fine with it. As mentioned, it would have to be a minimum of 1,152 ME, or 20,160 ME if only buying the apps. So if someone ran into that issue, that would mean that they're such a hardcore player that they would have spent a rough estimate of 2,304-40,320 energy on the successful effigy encounters alone in the span of a single event.

What a true gamer moment.
