As the others dispersed from the meeting, Lark stretched a hind leg. No wonder there were greater troubles with coyotes. Every time fall and winter rolled around they would become even more opportunistic than they already were. He didn't quite understand what the deal was with the pack deciding to start caching their kills, especially since it tended to be cats that did that, but since he wasn't in charge he wasn't in a position to question it. Uninterested in interacting with the others at the moment, he decided to trot off to someplace peaceful. |

Phoenix had a disgusted face, "Ah..ok?" Phoenix didn't even know what to think of. "Whatever, just get her to Lantern's cave when we get there." Phoenix looked away and started dragging the carcass back home. Flare (Completely forgot about her) Flare walked around the meadows, she heard something in the grass. She walked over to see that it was the hunting party, "Oops, did I miss this hunting party?" She had guilt written all over her face, "Yes Flare! You should have come with us!" Phoenix pinned his ears. "Sorry, I can help you guys drag the carcass." |

(I swear I put my last part in before Hazeldragonlove! At least I thought I had... Lol) She woke up to her packmates poking her. Her head hurt but she knew she'd live. She saw the carcass and smiled. "At least it was caught," She said standing up, trying to brush off the pain in her head. Tempest They heard grass being stirred outside the camp and when to see what it was. She saw Phoenix and Flare dragging an elk cow carcass back towards camp. "Didn't know you'd joined the patrol." Tempest teased Flare as they helped to drag it back to camp. |

Nux had heard about Sunny getting hit, he trotted to the medical cave to talk to Sunny. "I think a family member is more important and catching prey, what on earth were you doing!?" Nix sat down next to Sunny, not even believing that he promoted her to be beta. Flare Flare rolled her eyes at Tempest and dragged the carcass back to camp. "Food is here!" Phoenix howled to get everyone. |

She shrugged sheepishly at Nix. "Sorry, Alpha." She smiled. "I couldn't let any of the others get hurt. And at the moment it was almost Phoenix in my position instead of me." She told him. Tempest She was going to go talk to Sunny, but then they saw Nix heading toward Lantern's den where Sunny was resting. |

From what Sunny had told him, it seems like it was Phoenix was the reason. He shook his head in response, "Alright, get some rest." Nix got up and walked out of the cave, he walked over to the carcass and started digging in. "Yeah, you're welcome Nix!" Phoenix said with a bit of an attitude, "Oh sorry. Thank you Phoenix, the one who basically almost killed Sunny!" Nix smoothly shot back,. Flare Flare looked at the two and backed away, in case they were about to physically fight. She had no interest of getting in the middle of it. She went to Pumpkin, "Hey, how are you?" |

Oops, did I get Phoenix in trouble with Nix? She winced, partly from her headache and partly from the thought. "That's not quite what I said!" She called after Nix left and started eating. Tempest She went over to where Sunny was after Nix left and started to chat with her. |

Nix ignored both Phoenix and Sunny and kept eating. Idiots. Soon after, he got up and walked over to his cave. "I'll be in my cave if anyone needs me." He yelled loud enough for everyone to hear at camp. Phoenix Phoenix felt bad for what he did to Sunny. He walked after Nix and into his cave. Both not saying a word, Nix laid down and Phoenix cuddled with him, trying to calm his alpha down. |

Lantern grumbled a bit as she mixed some pain-numbing herbs into a tea. She'd went on the hunt to get away from herbs, not to do more work! Sighing, she nudged the concoction towards Sunny. "Don't worry, it tastes… sweet," she murmured. Turning away, she mumbled to herself, "I guess I'll just do what I was going to do tomorrow. No sleep for me, I guess." She knew she'd have to monitor both Sunny and the herbs during the night— she couldn't let them sit out a moment too long. And what if something happened to Sunny? Sitting down, Lantern began to hum softly as she put her tired paws to work once again. Pumpkin The copper-colored wolf looked down at her feet. "I'm okay…" At least they weren't paying attention to her idiocy. But regardless of that, Pumpkin hated it when her packmates fought. Sighing, she decided to go to sleep. She should be ready to go scouting in the morning. |
