I'm new to the game, and I have never set a stud outside of the beginning quest yet, so I was looking at the wolves I have, and trying to figure out who I should pick, since I know they stay your stud until they pass away or unless you use Golden Pinecones to replace them. I narrowed it to two boys I have...but I'm not sure what makes a good stud? I was intending to breed for higher stats, and I know aesthetics matter and I can customize them further, but beyond that I'm kinda lost. Personally, thought he was the most goregeous NBW I've ever found. He only has 2 patterns and he looks so pretty with them. I could give him more, but I'm not sure if stats are what I should be more concerned about. Second boy is a NBW I just got: wolvden.com
 Right off the bat he has better stats. I'd have to pick a new personality for him, which isn't too bad...and give him some markings, but I'm willing to do that. The thing is...does the stat matter that much? Should I do that much of an overhaul on him?If anyone could give me input or advice on it, I'd be really thankful. |

Honestly the stats aren’t that far off that I would say one is a deal breaker. I would suggest choosing the older stud that way you can get a new one with higher stats and more complex coats faster! That or buy one off of the auctions like I did 😂 |

Thank you! As much as I like Roughpaws, I think I like him as-is and don't mind upgrading the cranky boy that's older so he fits my needs. Thank you for stopping my waffling. XD |

I updated the boy and recolored him, so he's got full slotted patterns now. XD I'm not sure if he's a color scheme you like anymore, but this is what the boy looks like now!
I'm going to try to level him a bit. He's got 264 points now and hoping to give him a lil boost so he makes higher stat pups! |

ah hes still pretty lol, i forget if the base genentics have to be the same tier or not, (silvermist is only tier 1) |

I think he's still only tier 1 but I am pretty sure all wolves are compatible? |

ah i think they are compatible? they are both monochrome. i went and checked silvermist and she's not available until 4 rollovers but im willing to wait! |
