Lilacivy - deputy - he/him

His face lit up as Breammist's eyes met his, and he pad quickly over to where she'd gestured. The mud hadn't tarnished her looks at all, if anything it had only seemed to explain her calm demeanor. He wondered if the ShadowClan territory had ever left those cats looking anything like this after a solid rain or a meeting in the rain. "Good morning Breammist," he dipped his head as he passed her, settling into the empty space. "I hope you managed to sleep a bit; it doesn't seem like everyone is well rested or happy."

Amberblaze - they/she - warrior

They settled outside of the bunch, well on the edge, but far enough away to watch the clan breathe to life. Some people seemed to rise and head straight to work, but others weren't so phased by the rising of the sun. The warmth barely penetrated the mud that matted her fur, but it didn't really need to. The mud was sort of like insulation, and Amberblaze wondered if they'd maybe applied too much to their fur.

Snowwhisper - Warrior - he/him - Location: Camp

@Cal

Cal, He thought, taking in his name. Caladium, some type of leafy plant if I'm not mistaken. "Well, Cal, it's nice to meet you." It was strange, what he felt while looking at this cat. He couldn't put a paw on it. Hesitancy? Cautiousness? The prospect of a new friend? He didn't know, but he listened intently. Snowwhisper looked around while Cal spoke, not ignoring or dismissing, but rather to take a look at some of the other cats of Sun's Garden. As more cats poured out of their dens and burrows, the more decorations and disguises he saw, but no white fur. Pieces here and there, a tail tip, a foot, maybe the ears. But it was minimum, and it made him shiver a little at the idea of him and the few other white cats of StormClan having been so lucky to make it out alive since they've arrived in the grove.

He turned back to Cal as the tom finished speaking, and nodded. "That'd be a great idea." He says, looking around to see some of the cats going into their dens, as he noticed they had been up all night. "I'd like to know more about the roles and ranks of your, er, group." He wasn't sure what it call it, as Sun's Garden most definitely wasn't a clan, but maybe they had another word for it. "And maybe I can tell you a little bit about the Clan?"

Fadedpaw - MCA - she/they - Location: Camp

@Featherspire

Their mind was swimming, clouded with thoughts and the desire to sleep. Eyes fluttering shut as they struggled to keep them open. And they jumped, a voice that gave them comfort, and they were too tired to feel embarrassed for not noticing him coming up to them. A yawn followed his, and they looked to face him. "I, erm, yeah, that'd be nice." They said, giving Featherspire a smile that just didn't quite reach their eyes. The usual spark that came from the prospect of doing their job wasn't there. Nightmares catching up to them, draining them, and no StarClan to save them.

Minkfur- She/Her- Elder
@Crowfeather
"Oh, don't remind me" Minkfur grumbles, ears flattening in disgust. "We're cats, not magpies. Like a buncha feathers and some stupid fire are gonna scare shadow monsters off." Minkfurs voice cracks at the end of her sentence, obviously upset about more than just looking silly. Realizing her show of weakness she looks away quickly, focusing on a faraway tree. Crowhearts question pulls her attention back to the black tom. Surprised by his concern, however awkward it may be, she gives him a weak smile. "Aw, don't be worrin' bout it. I've been through a lot, ain't no way some leg is keepin' me down." Glancing back at the mud covering the both of them she murmurs "Ya know, this reminds me of some of the border skirmishes against your clan. Shadow, I mean." Eyes hazy as she remminices she continues, "So much mud everywhere! I could barely understand why y'all didn't just move out. Though I s'pose that is what I admired most about y'all." She gives Crowheart a crooked smile. "You were stubborn, no matter what Starclan threw at 'ya. Makes me feel guilty about hating all of y'all as a younger warrior."

Breammist- She/Her- Warrior
@Lilacivy
Breammist lets out a small huff of laughter at Lilacivy's formal greeting. She would have to try to get him to loosen up a bit around her when they had some time for such lighthearted activities. "Good morning to you as well" she purrs, lightly brushing the tip of her tail over his shoulder in greeting. "And I suppose I did manage to sleep." Resting her head on her paws she lets out a light laugh. "Silly as it is, this mud kinda reminds me of home, both River and Shadow. Helped me sleep I suppose." Glancing up at Lilacivy she asks softly, "How…. how are you holding up? With Applestar, I mean." Hesitating slightly at first, she lightly rests her tail over his. "I can't say I knew him too well, but even just seeing that all was rough even if I haven't spoken to him. I can't imagine it was any easier for you." Lilacivy had immediately gone into a leader-like mode after, directing and helping everyone in need. Breammist highly doubted he had a chance to himself yet. Blinking up at him she whispers "It's okay to not be okay, you know."

Morning'Skies - Deputy - She/Her - Location: The Suns Garden
(Nothing)

Gold'Breeze - Warrior - She/Her - Location: The Suns Garden
@Blizzardwhisker
Gold'Breeze felt the stares and glances of the cats around her. She turned away from flames when she heard a voice, Blizzardwhisker. "Im sorry, you liked him, yes?" She heard Blizzardwhisker talking to her. Gold'Breeze was about to speak when she remembered that Blizzardwhisker was deaf. She turned "I've never really thought about it, I guess I liked him and his death was terrible. I think that's why I became a warrior, I wanted a life that doesnt have so many restrictions." as Gold'Breeze spoke she signed, she was fluent in it, but she knew a lot. She felt weird saying all this out loud especially because she was sure Blizzardwhisker wanted a more simple answer.

Cypress - Novice - Stalker - He/Him - Location: The Suns Garden
@Chrysanthemum
Cypress felt awkward while Chrys stared at him. After Chrys had spoken, they led him out of camp to a nice hunting area, one that should have lots of prey. Cypress spotted a plump rabbit and a few mice, he decided to go for the rabbit stalking across the grass he pounced silently. The rabbit heard him before he landed, Cypress was about to give chase when he realized that it would be irresponsible to run off.

Succulentnettle - She/her - Location: Near Sun's Garden

Succulentnettle climbed up a tree and sat down, absent-mindedly chewing on a small stick that she had found and wrapped some vines around out of boredom. She gazed up at the morning sky, her lighter forest-green eyes shining as she thought about everything that had happened. The clans leaving there homes, coming together, traveling, getting attacked, cat's dying, being brought to this strange place..it was quite a lot for her mind to process all at once; her forgetful memory had forced her to temporarily repress it until she was safe, and here Succulentnettle felt safe.  A leaf fell out of her fur and she snapped back to reality, realizing she should probably get back to Stormclan before they became worried about her. Her zoning-out had made her walk decently far, not far enough that it would take more than 1/12 of a sunrise to get back to 'camp', but it was still quite far. Succulentnettle picked up her pace and silently rushed back, occasionally stopping to look around the area as she went. She managed to get lost quite a lot in Thunderclan territory, so she knew was going to have some trouble memorizing the area here.

Featherspire — He/They/Xe
@Fadedpaw, anyone else up to engage

Fadedpaw seemed so out of it, and the older medicine cat gave a whimper of despair for the caliby. He regardless stayed apart enough so they didn't touch, and he crouched, rubbing the crust from his eyes. Fadedpaw seemed to jump when she heard him, and pulled a yawn after his own. The chimera smiled, a little, remembering a old mother's-tale about how cats yawning together signified they had a good bond. I hope so. I try to do what i can for her. I'm so proud to be one of her mentors, but StarClan, why do you have to curse her with misfortune.?.

"Good. I think you and i could use a good distraction." Featherspire frowned noticing the dullness in Fadedpaw's sapphire-blue eyes, and pulled a smile, forcing the most energy into xer voice xe could manage. "Wanna race to see who can find the first herb?"

Blizzardwhisker — She/Her — Deaf
@Goldbreeze, Plumflame

Blizzardwhisker's pelt ruffled and she positioned herself so she was entirely facing away from Plumflame. No time talking to needy exes, no thank you. The black tom hissed and began to circle the pyre, and Blizzardwhisker let out a breath she didn't know she held.
Blizzardwhisker watched Goldbreeze's signing, nodding along, and responded with her own. She was grateful the molly chose to speak alongside sign— it was good practice for understanding mouth reading. 'I understand. I could never choose to leave such a important life, or choose to never have kits. You are brave.' She ran her tongue over her paw in contemplation, then continued. 'I want a normal life. To be treated like a normal warrior. Maybe be leader one day. But now.. knowing what our clan is going through, i cant do it.

Caladium "Cal"- He/him-Sentinel-Location: Sun's Garden

@Snowwhisper, mention of Sage (NPC), Anyone with a Sun's Garden Cat

Caladium flicked an ear to show that he had heard the clan cat, his amber gaze scanning the clearing as he racked his brain. Who could he introduce Snowwhisper too? Moments later a small she-cat with short dark grey fur and eyes much like his own caught his attention. She was amongst the smallest of those from the Sun's Garden and, to outsiders at least, could be confused for a novice. The she-cat was none other than his littermate and Caladium was extremely protective of her, especially because most considered her a liability. She was smaller, had shorter fur, and often felt weak and tired. But she was nothing if not optimistic and friendly to everyone around her. Naive might be a better word for it in Cal's opinion. Her curiosity often got the better of her and one day he worried he would not be able to keep her safe. He was hesitant to introduce her to Snowwhisper, but something told him he had nothing to worry about. Besides, he could probably take him down if it came down to it. His littermate lifted her head curiously and he gave a small nod to show it was okay for her to come over.

"I'll tell you what I can. But first, there is someone who has been interested in meeting you clan cats." Caladium answered as his sister trotted over. "Snowwhisper, this is my littermate, Sage. Sage, this is Snowwhisper. Sage is one of our Stalkers, they're in charge of hunting." The Sentinel added, glancing over at the tom beside him. (I gave Sage a random role since she's a NPC, hope that's okay.)

"Wow! A real outsider! It's a pleasure to meet you!" Sage purred cheerfully as she sat down in front of the two toms.

Crowheart - Warrior - he/him - Location: Sun's Garden Camp

@Minkfur
Crowheart looked up at the mention of the old Clans. "Our territory was muddy," he agreed, "But we didn't slather mud all over our pelts." He nodded towards the mud-covered cats around them. A glimmer of distrust appeared in his eyes when Minkfur expressed admiration for ShadowClan, but it quickly went away. "ThunderClan was... You were... erm..." his voice trailed off as he struggled to finish his sentence. Squirrel-chasers? Kittypet-lovers? Prey-stealers? Those were all that came to mind when he recalled what ThunderClan had been like in the Valley.

Chrysanthemum "Chrys" - Stalker - they/them - Location: Forest

@Cypress
Chrys had been observing Cypress quietly from a distance. When the rabbit fled, they spoke up, "It's difficult to catch a rabbit after it flees, especially with this type of ground." They gestured at the unstable rocks around them with their tail. "A fall could mean a broken leg, or a broken neck," they said softly and pushed over a small rock, watching it slowly tumble down the slope. "Which makes stalking and pouncing all the more important." Chrys returned their gaze to Cypress. "Your crouch and pounce were fine. I suppose you were just unlucky." They fell silent as they caught the scent of a squirrel in the air.

Fadedpaw - MCA - she/they - Location: Camp

@Featherspire, anyone else

Xe were trying, they could tell, and a distraction was just what they needed. Both of them. Featherspire used as much cheerful energy as xe could and Fadedpaw was grateful to have xem as a mentor. A small, but genuine smill pulled from their mouth, a glint of challenge calling to them, and they looked up at Featherspire. "Only if you can keep up." They teased, getting up, and taking a quick scan of the camp. It was beautiful, and without the loom of threat hanging in the air, almost serene. They looked back at the medicine cat, before taking off towards the area that seemed to have an abundance of vegetation, quickly scanning to see if they could spot any familiar herbs hidden in the plants and flowers.

Snowwhisper - Warrior - he/him - Location: Camp

@Cal, NPC Sage, any Sun's Garden cats

The tom had brought Snowwhisper to a small she-cat with dark fur, dipping his head as Cal introduced her as Sage. He felt a ripple through his back as the mention of her being his littermate, something he'd never be able to say. "Hi there, pleasure to meet you as well." He spoke, sitting down to continue conversing. "A stalker? I see, you must have specific roles here. In the clans, warriors hunt, patrol, and guard all the same."
