Hunting Advice

So pretty much every time a hunt fails the text box says says its due to my finisher, Alder, letting the prey go and I was wondering if is just a standard text or if there's something I can do to Alder to increase the chances?

The hunting party isn't at 100% synergy/proficiency yet and there is one wolf with a conflicting personality but so far I haven't gotten any text boxes about her starting arguments, so I'm curious is these texts boxes are indicative of problems with the party or just random?

They are not random - I'm usually getting them with the wolves with lowest proficiency more. That being said as they gain experience they capture more prey and I do not gett the "wolf messed up" message so ofter - I cave a team that works well with each other (friendly+romantic)

I think its possibly random or possibly just at what point the hunt check failed. If its alder it could just be random, her stats are still too low, and proficiency and synergy do effect results, and larger hunt trails are harder. So if its random its just a hunt thing otherwise it could be suggesting her stats and proficiency were too low. 

Either way hunts take awhile before they get consistent even with 5 hunters. I wouldnt worry too much though you'll want to keep an eye for messages suggesting a disagreement among hunters due to one of them not being a compatible personality.
