And really?!)) School was...the one place Noah could go and not have to worry about getting yelled at by an adult or anyone. Most people ignored him, because he was know as the weird goth, or emo kid. He didn't exactly care what they called him, because he got called much worse by his father. He walked through the school building with a monster in his hand. He had three more in his bag and he was gonna drink all four monsters because he doesn't care about what it does to his body. He had his nailed painted black but he couldnt help but pick at his nails as he walked down the hallway |

Warning: Minor rant While I was just losing my shit, we had a moment, and we were literally two inches apart. Bro. I fucking leaned in and then chickened out. SHE DIDN'T PULL AWAY. I snapped out of it and left the room without a fucking word. I FEEL SO STUPIDDDDDdd- Why did I do ThATTtttttttTTtttTTT?!??! Aaaaand now I'm just avoiding the world. I've been in my room for at least an hour. She's 'at the store' rn, but I know damn well she's gone to her sister's place to tell her. I lowkey think she's panicking too ;-; Miles had been considering faking sickness to avoid school, or just skipping all together, but his mother had told him that if he skipped again, he'd be grounded for life. AND he'd have to babysit his sisters tonight. Safe to say that school no longer seemed like hell. Nothing could compare to the torture of playing dress up with two six year old girls. He waved to several people as he walked down the hall, putting on his best smile. It's not that he didn't like people, but he didn't like having to be friendly all the time. Some days, he just wanted to chill out and tell everyone to fuck off. Ah, well. Maybe some other day. |

Noah walked with his ear buds in, dark colored bags under his eyes. His hair fell into his eye as he sighed. He took q sip of his drink as he walked down the hallway, dodging people as he went along. He didn't really have friends and he was fine with that. People didn't really like him, so he was kinda used to it, but it still kinda upset him. |

Miles felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, and pulled it out to check who was messaging him. Oh- He's up already? Huh. It normally takes him an hour to get his lazy ass out of bed. He laughed quietly to himself, not really paying attention as he walked. He felt himself accidentally ram into someone, and quickly put his phone away. He'd just bumped into someone, but he still felt the need to apologize. "Ah, shit- Are you alright? Sorry about that!" He glanced down, seeming awkward. It wasn't like him to be so careless, but he couldn't help it when it came to Astrid. |

Noah wasn't paying attention either. He bumped into someone and a blank look remained on his face. He looked the person through the strands of hanging covering his eyes. Noah continued to sip on his monster not saying anything. He looked at Miles for a moment, and stood there for asleep second |

 ))Miles waited for a moment, trying to figure out what was up with this guy. He looked dead inside, but Miles tried not to judge him too much for it. Each to their own, right? "Uhh- You alive in there?" He teased, just trying to make sure he was okay. "You good, man? I didn't mean to shove ya like that. Just got distracted." He explained, shrugging his shoulders slightly. He looked the other over quickly to make sure he wasn't hurt or anything, and then sighed his relief once he'd determined that everything was fine. |

Noah just looked at him for a moment before he walked past him. He didn't make s single noise as he continued walking, no longer paying attention to Miles. He walked past people, who completely ignored him as well. This guy was like a ghost, no one could see. |

Miles was rather confused, but unsure of if he should say anything. In the end, he just shrugged and kept walking towards his next class. Oh, well. If this guy doesn't want to talk, that's his business. He looked fine, so there's nothing to worry about. He sighed to himself, pulling his phone out again. On second thoughttt- I probably shouldn't text while I walkkk. He groaned internally, putting his phone away until he arrived to class and sat down. |

Miles pulled out his phone to respond to Astrid, who was probably only just now leaving the house. 'Running late again?' 'You know it. Can you tell Mr. Edmonson my car isn't starting?' 'You DARE ask me to LIE?!' 'Pleeeease?' 'Fine, but only because I enjoy fucking with the teachers.' He rolled his eyes and put his phone away as he got up and walked over to the teacher's desk. "Hey, Mr. Edmonson. Astri-" He started, but was abruptly cut off by Mr. Edmonson's annoyed voice. "Let me guess. . his car won't start, his cat threw up, his nonexistent siblings needed to be dropped off to school. How was I? Was I in the ballpark?" He raised an eyebrow, clearly annoyed.
