Best way to get SC?

So I just started around here and have been mucking about. I managed to buy wolves with my SC not realizing that there was a adult wolf limit. Is there an easy way to get SC for newbies who don't want to trade GC for SC?

Selling things you get from explore but don’t need is a great way! Or carcasses your wolves hunted but you don’t need that day. I try to keep on hand what I need but not much else unless it’s good for trading or if it’s herbs or salves.

TLDR; Selling to raccoon or putting better items on trading center is a great way to start. As well as doing your dailies as efficiently as you can.
