My neighboring city used to have such a nice pretty asian event, but they took it down :( All they have left is a butterfly parade and that's their big event for the year. So many people used to come before but now it's just parents and fam of the kids watching the parade bc they have to. The town is slowly dying off because there are no more events to attract tourists. And now they're tearing down buildings of national historics to put in crappy looking I-don't-know-what-that-is-maybe-something-like-an-appartments-but-not? And they gutted another big histrical building and they're planning on demolishing the tin cannery which is in my city and make a hotel for the people who don't come anymore, and it's also a big historical building. Next they'll probably be tearing down Doc Rickett's house or the aquarium down the street No respect for history and destruction of the local small buisnesses who used to thrive off tourists. I'm so tired.. |

link is one that I've seen an awesome paining of in an art gallery. And next city over there are so many, I hope they don't take them down too ;-; Why are they called painted ladies? I haven't the foggiest ๐คทโโ๏ธ They're so old though, and made of real real wood. Imagine the creaking when you try to sneak and snoop around :') |
