Backstory (significant events): First generation cat, Rainkit was born to her mother, Riverbark and her father, WhiteNose. Bring the first litter to the young queen and warrior. WhiteNose was kind, while Riverbark was stern. Rainkit was very close with WhiteNose and never bonded much with her mother during her kithood. Her relationship with her sister and brother was great, she was always close and could trust both growing up. Almost always did the three get into some sort of trouble; usually bothering and messing with the elders till they would chase them out, one of the many things they did. WhiteNose had always been fond of all his kits while Riverbark did love all three. She pushed for the best in them, recommending the kits by cleaning the fleas and ticks off the elders after apologizing. Rainkit was the type of kit who snuck out of the nursery frequently to see her favorite elder, MossCreek. Usually visiting her for the amazing stories she'd share with the young kit or just to spend time with the old cat. Getting in trouble by WhiteNose for sneaking out but MossCreek always had the young cat's back.
Finally, Rainkit reached the age of an apprentice and became rainpaw. Assigned to DewySun as her mentor, rainpaw would always take in everything DewySun taught her. Earning her loyalty and protective instinct from her mentor. DewySun adored the young apprentice's determination to become the best warrior but that was always a young kit's and apprentice's dream. While Mothpaw and Rainpaw were out training, mudpaw had suffered from greencough that killed him two moons later. This news broke the whole family of the kit's, but like usual had to move on. WhiteNose and Riverbark took the news the worst, oftentimes neglecting most of their warrior duties to make sure their last two kits were okay. While rainpaw was still a young apprentice, MossCreek had unfortunately died due to old age. MossCreek's death was a major impact in the apprentice's life but had to continue on to continue on to be a warrior just like she promised MossCreek who was once a warrior who had to retire early in age due to being blinded during a fight against a badger. DewySun gave the cat some grace for a few days before continuing on with training. Making sure this kit had got every information to be a loyal Windclan warrior someday. Mothpaw and Rainpaw would often practice together, fighting or hunting practice; Usually always having one another's back.
With two cats who were very much a big role in her life was now dead, nevertheless one being her brother. Mothpaw was now her only last living kin, her sister. Mothpaw and rainpaw worked through this traumatic death.
With the day of their ceremony rainpaw became RainDawn, Mothpaw being MothFlight. Two devoted warriors who would fight to the death for their birth clan, their home. While she began her warrior moons, she met Sunheart who eventually won her heart over. Ending up having kits with him but when it was time for the kits to come, both kits were stillborn. This broke her heart, taking her time to move on from this. Sunheart ended up dying due to greencough. These deaths caused great sorrow for the young cat. MothFlight tried his best to help his Littermate but nothing worked. At times RainDawn will visit the nursery and help the queens with the kits to ease your distress.

Other:
Strengths .
– Fighting, for the most part. She is very talented. She is very determined and will never let herself give up.
– Her optimism is a strength, and her jokes are a great help in lifting her clanmates spirits when things are going poorly.
– Her empathy for cats is another strength of hers, as she is willing to give second chances in all but the worst of cases.
– Her kindness, she never lets anything stand in her way of helping another cat. Her attitude, she never lets herself be upset and can carry a smile on her muzzle for days at a time.
– Incredibly understanding of other cats' emotions; Always up to help and lend a paw for her clan mates
Weaknesses .
– Her confidence, yes confidence can be good in most situations but she will buck up to any warrior no matter the clan. Often will stick with her words till someone proves it wrong, this can lead to great danger.
– Short attention span, depending on what RainDawn is supposed to do. Sometimes she will forget what she's doing and start doing something else. This can lead her into trouble at times.
– Overbearing, very helpful they are but sometimes she can come off very overbearing to the point it starts to irritate cats.

Name: Strider
Age: 29 moons
Gender: Tom (he/him/they)
Sexuality: Pansexual
Clan: Loner
Role: Loner
Description: He's a big fella, no doubt, but it's eat or be eaten in the life of a (now) independent traveler. Strider's appearance can be described lion-like but equally fox-like. He has vibrant russet highlights and black-based tabby ticking, as evidenced by the crown of stripes on his head. While his reddish coat attests to the traits of a fox, he has a lion-like mane and a stoic yet proud gait. Strider possesses a large chin, tall ears, and a peculiar set of lime-green eyes that seem to almost be always narrowed in a guarded fashion. In terms of his height and stature, he seems a hair taller than the clan cats, thanks to his foreign roots. His physique is powerful and on the muscular side, and while it provides him the edge in combat, it makes him for a very, very slow runner. It's a lot of mass to carry.
Personality:
+++ Suave, independent, adventurous
// Inquisitive, complex
--- Abrasive, objective, sly

He's a cat who goes against the grain, who has his own opinions that are often clashing with the majority. Strider fled from a life of extravagance, responsibility, and promise for the sake of satisfying his own wanderlust and curiosity. He doesn't quite like being told what to do, and has a surprisingly strong moral compass. While his objective nature can be obnoxious, it's also eye-opening. Fortunately he can be particularly charismatic, so while you may have differing opinions at first, he's quite good at convincing others to get on his side. Strider is neither a fan of outdated ideals nor following unnecessary traditions, as he prefers to carve a path of his own that is much more reasonable and free. However, in this way, it can be difficult to discern him from a sociological knight in shining armor, or an overgrown teenager escaping the demands of seniors.

He's an adventurist by heart, seeking to expand his knowledge on the world while getting some sights in. Of course, his initial plan was to escape from undesired responsibility (and a marriage) that he was about to inherit, but he always possessed a need to explore. He hated being tied down with everything already set in stone for him. Where's the fun in that? He likes his life on the road, by himself, without the overbearing responsibilities of having to become the leader of his clowder. This, this the life he's been wanting.
Family:
Thicket - Mother; NPC
Talus - Father; NPC
Dancer - Younger brother; NPC [20 moons]
Thorn - Younger sister; Adoptable [20 moons]
Conifer - Betrothed; Adoptable [28 moons]

Other Relationships:
Violet - Childhood friend; Adoptable [30 moons]

Backstory:
His story took place in a land located relatively far away from the clans, in a powerful clowder that had its eyes set on domination. They had a large following of powerful cats, seemingly capable of prying land out of whomever they pleased. Strider was the first born of their leader, Thicket, and her mate, Talus. This made him their Heir at birth, destined to take over as leader, be betrothed, and rule the plains just like his mother and ancestors before him.  Strider was trained and primed for the position at birth, robbing him of a proper kithood.

He continued to train hard as he aged into an adolescent, showing the great makings of a future leader. His mother was proud, and his father was satisfied with what he was becoming. However, during a particularly harsh training, Strider was rolled off of a small cliff and temporarily lost. He'd discovered a small she-cat his age named Violet, who immediately tried to initiate him in some fun games. Strider didn't quite understand- he never played games. His life was all about political lectures and a harsh training regime. Nonetheless, he tried to learn her "games" until the sun had set when he finally heard his father calling for him. He'd been found! Eagerly, he left Violet to return home, promising to learn more about her "games" some other time.

Until he was 11 moons old, Strider periodically snuck out to play with Violet. As he had learned, her small family was in hiding from his rogue clowder. If they found her family, she explained, his parents would kill them. They did not want to share the land. She talked of other lands, of clans, and taught him so much that his parents had never dared to mention to him. Slowly, his curiosity and desire to explore for himself began to grow.

However, one day, he made a mistake. He had not been careful and had been followed by his younger sister, Thorn, who ratted him out to his parents. Enraged and distraught, Strider watched as his family and clowder murdered Violet's little family. He never saw her again. After that, his training intensified, as did his hatred towards his parents.

At 20 moons old, Strider was declared as fully trained. His parents tried to force him into more politics as an adult, having him lead some of their raids on local loner families. He quickly became detached from the life he was living, but it only got worse. Thicket and Talus reaffirmed that he would be their Heir, and as all Heirs, he would be betrothed. That eve when he returned to camp, the ceremony was held, and Conifer was declared his official betrothed. All Heirs (or Heiresses) were matched up with an ideal betrothed at birth, after all. Conifer had worked hard and proved herself a capable match, and so their parents had made it official.

That was where he drew the line.

Fed up with being forced to live his life a certain way, Strider began to plan his escape, his new life, the life he always desired. At 22 moons of age, he escaped from his home in the dead of night.

He has been exploring/on the run ever since.

Name (prefix only): Songbird
Age: 26 moons
Gender: Male
Sexuality (optional): Pansexual
Clan: Loner
Role: Loner
Description (looks): Songbird is a blue lynx point ragdoll. He has heterochromia, so one of his eyes is blue and the other is a greenish color. Most of his body is white, and he has a white spot on his nose where the lynx marking would continue. Due to his ragdoll genes, he is a very fluffy cat. But due to adaptations to the wild, his ancestors fur slowly got shorter and shorter. He is the product of those.
Personality: Songbird is a very friendly cat, or at least he tries to be. He can be taken as annoying at times, when really hes just trying to make the cat feel at home with him. He doesn't really enjoy being alone, which is why the only time hes away from his family is when hes hunting or greeting another loner. He has very deep ties to his family, so although he tries to be nice, if you hurt his family he'll make you pay for it. And he'll try to get revenge until he takes his last breath.
Family:
Feather - F - Mother - Available to claim! - 63 moons
Eagle - M - Father - deceased
Owl - F - Littermate - Available to claim! - 26 moons
Kingfisher - M - Littermate - Available to claim! - 26 moons
Hawk - M - Younger brother - Available to claim! - 22 moons
Duckling - F - Younger sister - Available to claim! - 22 moons
Backstory (optional): Even as a kit, Songbird despised being alone. To the point where he would yowl as loud as he could if he was left alone, even for a second. At one point, his father, Eagle, got so tired of this, he decided to take his son on a little trip. During the trip, Songbird was dropped into a large trunk that was hollow in the middle and left there. He was terrified, trying to scratch his way out of the sides or climb up. But he could never get all the way up. He cried for his mother all night, until he couldn't anymore because his voice was worn out. His mother had been looking for him all night, and only found him after his voice had left his throat raw. She gently grabbed him by his scruff and took him home to his littermates. Needless to say, not only did he never trust his father again after that, but he was even less inclined to be alone.

When Songbird was about 10 moons, he was training without his littermates for the first time and he heard his father crying for help. He found him, hanging off of a cliff, his claws barely keeping him up. Songbird had a choice, forgive him for the wrongs he had done to him, or let him die. He decided to let him live and saved him. But, his father still died a few moons later from an unknown illness.
