Hey, I'm chik_ren and I'm pretty new to the game. This thread is where I stockpile my information about anything and everything for easy access or use. Feel free to let me know if there is something that I should add!

THIS THREAD IS A WIP; INFO WILL BE ADDED AND CHANGED

Markings and How to Label Them

Tier 0: Basic NBW Markings
Tier 1: Custom Markings
Tier 2: Raffle/Rare Markings
Tier 3: Applicator Markings
Tier 4: ? (empty category)
Tier 5: ? (empty category)
Tier 6: Combo Markings and Breed Deviation Markings
Tier 7: RMA Exclusives
Tier 8: Rare NBW Markings

Passing Markings & ETC

"If both parents have an identical marking in the same slot, there is a 75% chance that the pup will get that same marking in that same slot. If both parents have a different marking in the same slot, there is a 50% chance the pup will get a marking in that slot. Once it's decided that the pup will get a marking in the slot, it is a 50/50 chance for which parent's marking they will receive. If only one parent has a marking in a specific slot, the puppies have a 50% chance to obtain that marking

Additionally, the opacities of the parents' markings will affect what opacity the pup's marking will have. The pup's marking's opacity will be the average of the two parents' opacities in that slot, give or take about 10%. This could also be represented by the formula"

Opacity Formula: (mother's opacity + father's opacity)/2 ± 10%

Lethal Mutations

Brachycephaly

Type:
Recessive
Effects:
Pup dies at 1 ½ months
Description:
This puppy has a squished, deformed face.
Birth message:
"New Puppy was born with an anomaly. All puppies have short snouts and big heads, but this particular pup is very wrinkled and visually deformed, as though someone pushed his face into his head. New Puppy is audibly gasping for air, but he is alive, and he seems healthy for now."
½ month
"[Puppy]'s breathing is laboured. Her tongue barely fits within her shortened mouth. She makes lots of gasping and snorting noises every day [Puppy]'s eyes opened earlier than your other puppies, and they seem to prolapse a bit."
1 month
"[Puppy] is having serious issues with breathing. There's not a quiet day in your den—the puppy's snoring and snorting is a constant, worrisome noise."
Death message:
"Unfortunately, [Puppy] has passed away due to complications with breathing. Every breath he took was just not enough to fill his tiny body with enough air. It seems eerily quiet within your den after the puppy's snorts stopped forever. To see your wolf's records, visit your Dynasty."

Conjoined Twins

Type:
Random, non-genetic
Effects:
Pup dies at 4 ½ months old
Description:
These pups appear to have two functional bodies joined at the butt.
Birth message:
"You were ready to rejoice the rare birth of twins, until a dreadful realization overcame your joy—you notice the puppies are joined at the hip. New Puppy seem to be eager to suckle milk nonetheless, so you embrace them in a loving snuggle."
One month old:
""You learn how [puppy] functions as they learn the world themselves. They interact with ease together, they cuddle together, they try to get away from each other... But their fate is to be joined forever. They seen to be pooping a little more than ordinary puppies. You wonder if they're not able to control that part of their body.""
2 ½ months old
"[Puppy] is learning how to walk without falling and tripping. You explain the basic of teamwork to them, and they seem to understand you. A minute later, the puppies bite each other's paws. Ah, parenthood."
3 ½ months old:
"When it's time to try solid foods, [Puppy] are struggling to properly digest their portions. You often see small pools of vomit around your den."
4 months old:
[Puppy] are not able to process solid foods without whining in pain and vomiting. They also cannot control their bowel movements, and their stool is often covered in blood."
4 ½ months old:
"Sadly, [Puppy] have passed away due to problems with their digestive system. To see your wolf's records, visit your Dynasty.

Polycephaly

Type:
Random, non-genetic
Effects:
Pup dies at 2 months old.
Description:
This pup appears to have two separate functional heads atop a normal body.

Birth message:
"New Puppy was born with an additional head. As scary as it looks, the puppy seems to crawl and find a source of milk just fine using a dominant head, while the other head just mimics suckling jaw movements."
½ Months old:
"Despite his struggles with learning to walk, [Puppy]'s stronger head is barking softly at many things while he explores. The other head seems to just be silently observing."
1 month old:
"[Puppy] has been having seizures the past few days, causing him to lose control of its limbs as more time passes. It's a sad realisation that there isn't much you can do to help."
Death message:
"[Puppy] was unable to recover from full body paralysis. Sadly, he passed away. To see your wolf's records, visit your Dynasty."

Polymelia

Type:
Random, non-genetic
Effects:
Pup dies at [x]
Description:
This pup appears to have a total of eight legs growing from it's body.

Birth message:
"When New Puppy was born, the sight of her frightened her mother. There's just... Too many legs for one puppy to have. The legs seem to be growing out of its body as though there's another puppy hidden deep inside of it. She's moving, however, and she tries to suckle milk."
Death message:
