So I've been trying to type all my wolves so far into a google spread-sheet for family trees to help reduce inbreeding to the minimum. And I have every wolf listed so far, but my question is:
If your pair-bond couple adopt a pup, and the pup grows up and you want to breed that wolf with another wolf (but still in the pack) would it be the offspring be inbred?
Example:
Wolf-1 and Wolf-2 have 2 pups. Those pups grow up to adults, and you pair-bond one of the offspring from Wolf-1 and Wolf-2, with one of your other wolves, and they adopted a pup. At the same time the parents adopt a pup. Would it be considered inbreeding if I bred the 2 adopted wolves together/ or bred them with 2 siblings(blood related) from another family tree? Or would it not be since they were adopted, and they aren't technically blood related?
Or it's it a play it own way since its my pack?

If you are keeping track of the possible inbreeding to be able to sell the pup as "not inbred" on the Trading Center, I think there should be no problem since adoptive parents don't show up in the family tree page of the eventual offsprings. As you said, they are not technically blood related and that's what most players check for when try to avoid inbreeding.
There are a lot of players that use the adoption feature merely as a way to get a certain pup from the enclave, with no lore meaning behind it. I've never seen anyone discussing adoptive parents when it comes to clean lineage.

But if you are asking from a lore point of view, I personally think that adoption do matter when considering possible inbreeding. I try to avoid pairing up adoptive siblings since I imagine them as being raised as normal siblings.

Thanks. Not very many people talk about adoption with lineage as you said. It gives me some ideas on the next generation.
