The small equine flapped through the air, minding her own business. The light breeze that she felt through her feathers made the mare feel alive. Her midnight-blue fur swayed through the air, her adrenaline rushing through her body as she flapped her wings and gave a twirl in the sky. Never in her life had she felt this much freedom. Even when she was just a young filly she never had this much freedom.

Dash caught out of the corner of her gaze an hippogriff standing outside in the mountains. A part of her wanted to go check it out and another part of her didn't. Of course, with her impulsive nature she went ahead and did so anyways. The mare flew over to the entrance of the cave, trying to be as silent as she can be while landing. The sudden scent of a dead carcass flooded her nose, making her stomach jolt with unease. What is he eating? Or a she? It looked more like a she. She kept a low profile, hence having an dark coat easily able to blend in with anything dark. So she crouched and watched the hippogriff through narrowed eyes.

Easily, the mare heard the anger in her tone and felt her fur starting to prickle with unease. Great. From the get go I'm caught. Whilst remaining hidden, her hackles were rose as she responded. "I'm just here from curiosity. Not stealing. And I don't speak my name unless I learn yours." Her voice had some threat and had little tracings of fear. She had dealt with more than just an hippogriff.

She focused her gaze on the hippogriff, looking at her intently. Her tail gave a small lash as she then approached, the light easily reflecting off her deep blue coat, her eyes narrowigg bc done at the griff. "I shall soon, but however, I couldn't help but visit when I saw you out of your den." She spoke once again, her hackles raised. She felt the flow of her power running through her veins. She would possibly have to use it and that is something she wouldn't like doing. Her fur helped her from the cold that she easily felt inside this cave, glaring at the hippogriff intently. "Tell me, what's your name? I'll give you mine if you tell me yours first." Mentally, she felt wrong for saying this since she practically was invading the creatures home.

Damn. She's not getting through by this kind of talk. Slowly, she paced around the griff, the corners of her eyes eliminating a golden-yellowish flicker before going away. "I wouldn't be so cocky if I were you. I am the granddaughter of an element and of the defeater of Arrogan. She stated the facts as if they were nothing, her tail continuing to lash as she kept her gaze on the creature. "I did say I would leave. But I didn't say when now did I?" She states with a slight smirk on her muzzle, her wings fluttering as she glanced at the griff. "I'll ask again-" this time, the glow was more sentient and more seen. "-what. Is. Your. Name?"
