He started panicking, not knowing if it hurt him to move.
"H-Hey, I'm fine, alright? Just lay down, please." He sighed as Avery still wouldn't let go of him.
He caved and hugged him back, burying himself in the crook of his neck.

After a while, they broke apart to see the nurse from earlier. She had been patiently waiting for them to notice her existence.
"O-Oh! Hello?" Hiro stuttered, sounding confused.
"Hello again, dear. I'm just here to tell you that he's free to go, but doctor says he'll need plenty of rest, so no school for a while." She paused. "Oh, and here's his medication." She recalled, handing Hiro the bag.
"Alright, uh- Thank you." He hesitated.
She gave them a small nod and then left the room.

"Well that was awkward.." He groaned, running a hand through his hair.

Avery had a goofy little smile on his face and he nodded. He soon sat up slowly and moved over to the side of the bed. He was moving slowly, but he wasn't being careful at all.

"A-Avery! Watch it!" He snapped, not out of anger, but out of concern.
He stood up, motioning for Avery to stay where he was. He walked over to the closet and grabbed some clothes Nezumi had brought for Avery. He came back and handed them to him.
"Can you change on your own, or do you need help.?" He muttered awkwardly, despite knowing it was a very serious question.
