Which Custom Base for my Stud?

Heya guys!

I am considering changing the base of my future stud to a customized base, either Siqoq or Chert are my front runners.

In reality, I may just hoard my scantly received gold cones, but hey it's fun to dream right?

He currently has a Howlite base:

Here he is with Siqoq and Chert:

Or should I go a little wild and do Onyx or Pewter...

Which do you like better? Do you find any base more breedable than the others? Should I just leave him as Howlite?

Here are his markings for anyone curious:

S2: Brown Inuit Unders S3: White Marbled Unders

S6: Black Blanket S8: White Light Husky

S9: White Inuit Unders S10: White Shaded

Also curious to hear your unique name suggestions for him! (No Blizzard, Aspen, Akira, Nanook, etc.)

Personally I love the Onyx on him! The way the shading works with the markings is wonderful!

It does look quite sharp, doesn't it? And I'm a sucker for a bar mask!

Definitely will be keeping an eye on this thread to see if/when you do change his base. Will most definitely be sending a stud request then!

I think I'd go with Onyx! A bit more contrast is nice. Although Siqoq is cool too if you prefer the lighter look.

Thank you for your input!! I’m honestly pretty torn. I do like the lighter all over with depth look (why I bought him), but the Onyx is also really pretty!
