Donnie stood up and followed after Carlos while they left. They didn't have the car, so Carlos called a cab. Donnie tried to hold his hand, but he was still on edge, and pulled away. He wanted to ask what was wrong, but he knew it was a stupid question. |

Donnie had thought about how they were going to get out of the country, and where they were going to go, but he knew that Carlos wasn't in the mood to talk about that right now. He was still very anxious, and he hadn't really taken the time to process everything yet. He reached for Carlos' hand again, but . . |

Donnie moved his hand away from Carlos, and began messing with his shirt. Carlos had been his stress-relief for a while now, and without someone to talk to about all the shit that had just gone down, it was too much for him to handle. "O-Okay. We need to catch a flight out of the country. I've got enough in my account to buy us tickets. Now we just need a destination." He muttered, struggling not to stutter. |

He gave a small nod, "We can...figure that out on the road..." He said as he got into the cab. He let out a sigh. |

Donnie hesitated for a moment, appearing to have zoned out, but he quickly snapped back to reality and got in the cab with him. While Carlos gave the driver directions, he leaned back in the seat, trying to steady his breathing. He had been struggling to calm down since he got out of the back room, but he didn't want to put more stress on Carlos. He's already got enough on his plate, just figure it out yourself. He pushed away the voice in his head telling him what he didn't want to hear. What he knew was true. That he can't figure it out on his own. He sighed shakily and found himself becoming dizzy, even while sitting down |

Carlos said nothing for the majority of the car ride. It took a little while but a hesitant hand soon took Donnie's. Carlos had slowly taken Donnie's hand after a while. |

They had been riding in silence, though in Donnie's mind, it was anything but. He couldn't seem to calm down, though he had at least managed to hide this from Carlos by pretending to look out the window. He'd been keeping his hands down by the seat to try and stop himself from screwing with his shirt, but after a while, he felt Carlos take his hand. He knew he wouldn't be able to hide this if Carlos noticed him still shaking, so he reluctantly pulled his hand away. He tried to say 'Not right now', but no words came out. He moved his hands to his lap, still looking out the window, but he could tell Carlos was staring at him. |

Carlos stared at him for a moment before he looked down. He ended up staring out the window. He knew something was wrong but he was scared to push Donnie. He never said a word to Donnie throughout the whole ride. |
