Immortal Lead Wolves | Non-retirement Version

I am honestly sad that there is not the option already and actually looking for a wolf that is going to be my next lead.
I really like this idea because we can immortalize other wolves, why not our lead?

I agree with @Lionel, since a big part of the game is exploring and its encounters, and battling is good too. How are you supposed to finish battle trophy quests? Or moving biome quests? This would mess up our quests, plus crafting. A large chunk of crafting materials are battle trophy remnants, and you can only trade for those if your lead is immortalized. All in all, you would be getting less SC since you're not getting battle trophies, or completing battle quests.

Hey, I'm a bit confused about what you mean by this? Immortal lead wolves would still be able to get trophies and other item drops from defeated enemies. They just would not be able to gain stat drops from them. If that is something you are worried about. Could you also elaborate on the trophy, quests, and crafting bit? I geuinely want to understand where you are coming from so I can make my suggestion better or clarify things. Thank you!

Oh, I thought you meant that wolves could not battle anymore if they were immortal. In that case, I think it may be a great suggestion to the game. But what if you get bored of your lead? Will there be a "retiring" option for them, too?

Oh, I see now! Yeah, immortal leads would still be able to use the explore to its full extent. I just think it would be for the best that they aren't able to gain additional stats as that would lead to unbalanced gameplay if people were able to infinitely farm stats to make their leads overpowered.

As for the retirement part, of course! This is actually what I had written down on the suggestion itself "Due to immortal lead wolves not being able to age I think the only way to retire one should be through paying the 25GC fee that is also paid when retiring a lead early. If you retire a immortal lead wolf they get added into the dynasty and you are able choose your new lead like normal. With this said I don't think immortal lead wolves should count into the immortal slots as the lead wolf doesn't already count into the pack limit, either."

Let me know if you need any further clarification or have something to add to this. I would love to hear your opinion! :)
