I am wondering if you check Newly Befriended Wolves when they come into your pack as it's 150 SC each? I don't want to chase one that has a recessive gene, but deciding if I should be checking everyone that comes into my pack. Thank you! I don't yet have a specific mutation I'm looking for. It would just be nice if I found a recessive gene because then I could go from there with attempts to find another carrier.	Sempi #24599

You can check if you want. The chances are pretty low. Out of all the ones I've tested, only two were carriers. I haven't kept count, but I'd say I've spent at least 5-10k+ on gene checking alone. I check because I have a lot of sc to throw away, but if you're struggling, I probably wouldn't recommend it. It would probably be cheaper to buy a low gene carrier.
