Is fertility inheritable?

Is fertility inheritable?

So I have a wolf who's fertility is listed as very low. After a lot of trying she had 5 pups! 3 of them are girls and looking at the their fertility 2 of them are listed as infertile and 1 is listed as very low.

Do very low fertility wolves end up having low fertility children or is it random? And what about high fertility? Does it change with age?
Do the items that affect a wolf's fertility stack?

aa I don't know the answer to many of your questions but I do know that fertility items DO stack! c:

I haven't seen anything official on it, but from the (many) litters I've had, it does seem like fertility is inheritable. As far as I'm aware, it does not change with age.

Just had an infertile female pup! (Can males be infertile, I wonder?). Her mum has very low fertility, 4%. Tempted to keep her to see if fertility items work on her, or if there's a special message when I try to breed her. Hopefully in the future we'll figure out for sure if infertility is heritable.
